I so agree with your take on Pat/Put. Episode 6 really took it up a notch. I’m finally becoming invested in all the characters.

Came here after finishing this series and was surprised by some of the negative comments. Are we just getting spoiled by all the well-crafted BLs that have been coming out lately or what lol? This was such a mature, thoughtful show full of characters you will come to care about. Beautifully filmed, emotional, and with a lovely resolution to boot.

I agree! The acting is great, there is an actual plot, and the cinematography is beautiful. And it makes me laugh on the regular.

In trapped in his prison on the mountain, Mom chattering away about herself as they drive away, while her son’s heart breaks quietly in the passenger seat. And that’s why someday Wang will leave them all behind as he becomes the beautiful person he’s meant to be.

I’m posting this here for the (apparently very few people) who didn’t love this drama and couldn’t continue watching it. I’m usually fine with slow burn series that take awhile to get going but every episode I watched I fell asleep and had to rewind multiple times to finish. I finally had to throw in the towel because there are just too many other series on my watch list that aren’t a struggle to get into. Also, the female lead’s family are utterly intolerable to watch. Anyway, if you had to ditch this series and feel like you’re the only one, you’re not, LOL!
