Honestly pretty good series but would be better if the second male lead wasn't an absolute simp with no thoughts aside from "i can't stop loving her". Like my guy, that was a dude when you first met her. And the FL's brother? Just assumes his crimes won't get exposed when the FL has the mirror?
The antagonists basically died off when Mu Qibai died.

It was revealed at the very end when Lu Musheng actually died. He crushed his own memory orb to prevent Su Ying from keeping his memories eternally. It was shown there that he had actually always remembered her, but he just pretended to not know her. It's as simple as what Yanhui said after. He simple fell in love out of love with her and fell in love with the Fox spirit.

Yes it is a happy ending. Technically there are 3 couples, but only 2 get majority of the screen time. (ML-FL) & ( FL best friend & ML best friend) & (FL best friend & random guy). No love triangles, but the second male lead is interested in the female lead, I'm not entirely sure if they get together or not for a bit (since I skipped some episodes) but I can tell u the ML and FL get together in the end.
After EP 30 story became stale. Skipped 2 episodes did not miss a thing.
Agreed. Drama could have ended at EP 30 + 1 epilogue episode. They dragged it out, and did the second male lead dirty as well. SML had so much character development, and they just made him the bad guy for the last 6 episodes for no reason.
