Right???! Two wrongs don’t make a right. The Byokcheon weren’t held accountable for all the murders and treason…
I think most of the major players in the murders and treason were killed or punished in some way. The Byokcheon townsfolk seemed aware of the happenings but weren't directly related to the treasonous activities other than trying to build the hidden town and survive. The main perpetrators of the revenge plot were the monk that killed himself, the Queen that went mad, the ladies maid that was killed by the right state councilor, and the twin that died for his brother. The only one that seemed to escape any punishment was the husband from the couple that took in the two kids. He was directly involved in what happened with the head shaman woman but he seemed to escape without repercussions.
BTW if anyone doesn't know what Dual cultivation is, it's s*x on a spiritual level, more intimate than doing it…
No wonder he started getting antsy when she didn't show up for their "every three days" appointment lol. Boy got hooked on that pleasure pretty quickly haha
It's 2022, pretty sure it's been 2022 the whole time?
There was a 2020 poster right next to the 2019 one. It seems like they took down the oldest poster and replaced it with their newest completed project.
I don't think she was even conscious of the fact she was doing the same thing to WJ that had been done to her?…
How is it not valid? I was only pointing out the strangeness of her actions.
Also... there wouldn't BE a textbook unless a certain percentage of the population adhered to the standard expectations within it. That's the point of a textbook.
One thing about the sister kept bothering me and I finally figured it out.
She was diagnosed with a panic disorder from the trauma of being hit and embarrassed by the wife of the man she was dating. Someone suffering from the trauma of being attacked for a certain situation DOES NOT do the same thing to someone else. When she wrongly assumes Woojoo is dating a married man her first action is to slap her "as hard as she can" (which she admitted to their mother). I work in mental health and you generally see those with panic disorders become detached from the situation that reminds them of their own trauma. They don't relive the trauma by performing the same actions on a target, especially a member of their own family.
I think Hye Seong told their mother about it because of 3 Reasons:- the mum was so hurt when the siblings didn´t…
Woojoo's sister and DongJin's friend both needed to cool their jets and not meddle unless it became necessary. Woojoo was already taking the steps to quit and explain things because the fair had started and that was the deadline she gave to the friend, but he jumped the gun and went against his promise to give her that time.
Woojoo asked HyeSeong for 2 days (which is a very short time in real life) to deal with her feelings and discuss things properly with DongJin. The sister arbitrarily made the decision to tell the mom that same day, which almost felt like malicious intent. Woojoo didn't interfere in the sister dating random men over and over and has been taking care of the family for years. Her sister repays her by throwing her under the bus with their mother and by trying to steal her best friend and turn him into a romantic partner, which could end Woojoo's friendship with him. She wants to be everyone's priority, is jealous of their friendship, but she doesn't put in the effort to build and maintain those relationships outside of dating or blaming others for not picking her.
HyeSeong has a panic disorder that she got from being hit by the wife of the man she was dating, but when she assumes Woojoo is dating a married man her first response is to hit her? You would think someone trying to deal with that trauma herself wouldn't be the one to do that to her own sister. I will never see HyeSeong as anything but selfish and prideful.
Agreed. So many good things that coulda/shoulda been. But the biggest problem is the erratic pacing.
SO MANY coulda/shoulda moments in this show. This should never be an issue with a 20 episode drama. That's a whole lot of hours to make the plots and pacing work out nicely.
How sanctimonious of the sister! Like girl, please. What did she think telling the mum would achieve? I honestly…
And her excuse to Jun being jealousy?! This sanctimonious hag needs to have her head smacked around a bit. Her sense of entitlement is so astronomical that I can’t even comprehend it any more. I was so angry at her these two episodes that I couldn’t even be sad for the mains. There was no room for any other emotions but pure, unadulterated loathing and disgust at the sister.
I felt shattered watching episode 13. Cant believe the sisters attitude she is disgusting. Working up my nerve…
I agree. I have never shouted my disdain at my TV so much as I did these last 2 episodes. I have never hated a character more. Even Heeja is better in my books.
Yeah even I missed that...i am curious too...because we saw the exhibition boards change...I am guessing just…
There was a board immediately to the right for another fair that said 2020, so I’m guessing they just replaced the oldest poster with the most recent one, and that they do that with every new fair they host.
I’ve never wanted to slap a character more than I want to slap the sister. I haven’t seen a single redeeming quality from her this whole series. I pity her now and then, but her self-righteous meddling has me steaming and forces me to overlook any quality that I almost started to like.
I skip ALL their bits. As soon as they appear on the screen in their side-story I skip until I see mains or storyline…
I watch ShanShan’s story, just not her interactions with Taro. I find his character as annoying as that assistant. I bounce between wanting to slap her and finding her mildly endearing in later episodes.
