I just watched the series last week. But I just wanted to say that I totally agree with you that the writers put far more emphasis on the father/son relationship, than on the mother/son relationship. Of course, this was a set up for the ending, which in my opinion was less than satisfying. I do hope for a season 2, though. Thanks for your great review.
