Okay, TBH, I can't hate HS. Looking at the spoiler for the next episode, she's more hurt than angry with Woo Joo, and she has the right to react that way because it involves their family. Let's not forget that the Shim family is also the victim here; it's not only Woo Joo and Dongjin. And you'll expect them to easily accept and understand Woo Joo and Dongjin's relationship when Woo Joo hides the truth from them, especially from Dongjin, because they're all clueless. We all now understand why Jun reacted to Woo Joo's falling for Dongjin and wanted her to quit the job; he did so because he knew that Woo Joo and the Shim Family would get hurt. Dongjin is not the problem for them; it's the mistress mom that they can't accept to be part of their family if ever Dongjin and Woo Joo get married, and IRL, that's totally unacceptable. The main villains here are Dongjin's mom and their father.
I've noticed that throughtout the series, so far, when Jun wants to go to dinner or drinking he always calls Woo…
I don't think he has a crush on FL just because he always calls her first. His actions are normal for a best friend who wants a companion if he wants to go for a drink or eat; it's just friends hanging out. Same with Woojo's sister, Hye Seong is willing to accompany him, and I think both of them don't want to feel alone. If he ever liked WooJoo, he's the type of guy who will say or express how he feels and already confess to her, just like he was straightforward in rejecting Hye Seong's confession.
The loveline was slowly but surely built up. Their relationship is not ideal for everyone but I find it beautiful…
Yes, mostly in kdrama we can tell if the leads will have a romance, but here we didn't expect Gil and Ga-eul's loveline since it's not the main focus and because of the age gap, which I actually don't mind since they're both adults. There's also Moo Gyeol, who was her ex-boyfriend and was younger than Jegal and more fit to her age and profession, so people actually started to ship them, but he was only part of her past, and the writer just gave them each other closure and forgiveness that helped them heal from their past. I also disagree with some people who say the writer forced the romance between Jegal and Gaeul; it's actually been there from the beginning but very subtle. I think I like this kind of romance, where love happens unexpectedly to the least expected person. For me, it's not that I can relate to them, but I understand them. They're two broken souls that need healing, and I just wanted the best for them from the start. I rooted for their happiness, and this drama gave me the best healing and ending for my K-drama 2022.
The people confused about the love line should rewatch it tbh.. the clues were very obvious from the start, it…
The loveline was slowly but surely built up. Their relationship is not ideal for everyone but I find it beautiful and healthy. I guess ppl prefer to hype/ watch a romance that have 2 handsome ML that they want to choose who's better endgame for FL. Also in the interview i remember Lee Yoo mi said about the drama is about healing and romance.
like 8.3 - 8.5.
This is a good femalecentric drama.
