I couldn't even get through the first ep- I tried to read it because I had high hopes that it's be better than the webtoon given I had been seeing some really cool edits on tiktok, plus when it was released I was so hyped. My verdict is... It's worse than the webtoon. (Which I recently stopped reading too) Idk I found her behaviour really annoying, it kinda washed away any of the feeling sorry for her that I had due to how her family treated her. I got bored and skipped to where she was on the roof and landed on either Suho or Seojun prolly, i watched as he carried her down- meanwhile she was still acting annoying and proceeded to ask "did you know someone who jumped off" I- whot. Who asks that???? Why include a scene of something with such heavy implications of a really serious topic if you can't even write it properly? Judging from some of the things I've heard, I don't think it'll get any better as this apparantly also diverges from the social issues and srtuggles/insecurities jugyeong has about her appearance into some basic love triange shizz, just like the webtoon does.
That being said, loads of ppl here love it... So maybe it's just not my cup of tea lol
I feel like this had so much fucking potential but it blew it, like honestly if the ending wasn't so fucking shit this would be one of my favourite shows because I was head over heels for the second male lead because ei think he showed so much character development and I just loved him so much, but then they gave to show such an ending and tbh if it had a second season where they "corrected" the ending of the last one and made the male lead pay for his selfish and disturbing actions then this would be a justifyable season 1 and a good drama, but it doesn't and that's my issue with it lmao, I honestly went in expecting it to be bad and having the lowest expectations, the drama itself exceeded the expections-- asdie from the ending and ig the main female lead too.
I started watching this but no one told me this was airing lmao whY I mean it's Wednesday but like WHY noo I can't wait this long for episodessss it's too goooooddd
