My issue with most GMMTV BL's is the runtime... I do think they are far too long and they fill the middle section…
I find this epsidoe top notch, because this trip is about Day(maybe) coming to term with his blindness.
And, I love the middle section because we get to see them behaving as a couple.
Having the plot centered only about Day's blindness would be boring AF to me. I prefer it that way. Realistically people going blind go on with their lives. Having the plot centered solely around Day's blindness wouldn't be good.
But the reality is not everyone can hope and afford gaining their sight back, in fact most visually impaired people…
Day has some moments of happiness, but he ultimately want his sight back. I haven't seen him give up on a transplant. It's important to him. A good ending, would be him getting his sight back with the surgery. I want him to find a donor and live happily with Mhok.
