Is no one else confused on how Kazuma got swapped with a completely different actor but the character seems entirely different as well 😭?? The Kazuma we were first introduced to was her crush, which was in the same class as her. However, now in episode 3 he’s played by a completely different actor, is calling her an upperclassman, and they didn’t seem to know each other at all 💀. The show is really good so far, so I’m sure there’s a good explanation for this that I haven’t come across yet. If anyone can help explain this to me that would be wonderful lol
Okay so, I don’t think that Ji Hyun may die anymore. Could be my wishful thinking, but I agree with what the comments are saying that there’s no way the writers would just spoil the ending like that in the very first scene of the show. Like there has to be something more to it. I still believe Ji Hyun may come close to drowning, but he’ll definitely be saved. I don’t think this bl will have a happy ending, but I definitely don’t think it’ll have such a tragic ending, most likely it’ll either be bittersweet or open to interpretation. To further disprove the theory that Ji Hyun will die, a lot of the comments are mentioning that the therapist scenes we see in the beginning of both episode 1, 2, and the couple we see in the trailers are of Jae Won coping with Ji Hyun’s loss. However, in one of the therapist scenes from the trailer, Jae Won is talking about how he feels about Ji Hyun in present tense. If he were going to therapy to cope with Ji Hyun’s loss it wouldn’t make sense for him to be talking to him in present tense. I think he mainly goes to therapy to cope with whatever happened to his younger brother, which he mentioned very briefly about in the first episode suggesting that something bad happened to him. I also think it’s possible that he goes to his therapist not just for his brother, but also to figure out what he’s feeling towards Ji Hyun based off of the synopsis and that one scene from the trailer I mentioned before. That could maybe also explain why the therapist was laughing quite maniacally in the very first scene saying “tell me what the problem is”, maybe finding it dumb that he’s debating so much on the answer for something so obvious, his feelings. Still though, even with that being the explanation it’s still rlly weird lmao 💀 Also, I looked it up an apparently the phrase “the eighth sense” relates to assessing your inner feelings. From that meaning, it could be that if there is a sad ending, it’ll be that they don’t end up together. Not because Ji Hyun dies or anything like that, but simply because Jae Won wasn’t able to figure out and accept his inner feelings completely. This being a coming of age story where the characters are exploring their sexuality adds on to this theory, as them not ending up together would be the most realistic approach to this kind of story. By the look of the first 2 episodes as well, it seems like the writers want to go for something realistic. Anywho I rlly hope this isn’t just my wishful thinking, I cannot handle another sad bl this year 💀💀

That’s what I initially thought when I saw the first therapist scene and then that scene where he was about to talk about his brother, but now it got me thinking if it’s actually for Ji Hyun. However, I think it makes more sense that the therapist scenes are about Jae Won’s brother than Ji Hyun, because I don’t see any other better way to elaborate on what happened to Jae Won’s brother.

Carrying on what the previous comment said, I believe the scene in the second episode where Ji Hyun says that he only knows how to swim in valleys is foreshadowing that he may drown in the end 😭😭😭. Despite that ima stay strong w my wishful thinking because knowing that he may die in the end is going to ruin the enjoyment factor for me 👋💀
