I remember watching this when it had just come oug thinking it would be hated by most people because of the toxic main couple but I’m surprised to see the 8.6 rating. I liked it even though some parts were just too unserious like the villain who follows them to the island but I can’t really complain all that much. It was a short watch and I personally did enjoy how the main couple was toxic, lowkey perfect for each other.
Great drama but a little overrated. It really feels like the writers never know how to properly wrap up a series especially when something as tricky as time travel is involved there will always be some sort of plot hole or plot convenience but I still really enjoyed the nostalgic feel of this show and I’d give it a solid 8-8.5/10.
Getting weird because more people are realizing this drama just isn’t that good and the high rating is undeserved?
Nothing about my comment gives off “triggered” I simply corrected you and then went on to explain that everyone who dislikes the show isn’t a hater but simply other people who started watching this drama because it’s popular and giving their own ratings. Also it’s literally a fact that hardcore fans will make bot accounts to rate a show highly lmao. You subeoms are delusional when someone doesn’t like your show but what am I supposed to expect from kdrama fans?

I think you misunderstood. The other commenter said this site was getting weird because lovely runner was getting negative reviews. I said WHY would it be weird when it's just a case of more people watching this drama and realizing that it's not that good. Also why should I care if paid off south korean entertainment award bodies disagree with me? I have my own reasons as to why I think this show is garbage and many others do as well. A high rating on this site is meaningless and I learned that when I saw "flower of evil" had a 9.1 lmao. People here rate based on vibes and if their favorite actor is in it they just give it a 10 automatically and make more bot accounts to rate it highly.
I just had to laugh with that final episode because I really did not think it could get worse but it did.
That's exactly what it felt like and I find it to be a big problem in the entire kdrama sphere where a lot of these writers make up the story as they go and in the end they just don't know what to do and they have a messy ending on their hands. It would make sense as I find a lot of kdramas simply do not know how to write an ending that isn't convoluted in some way.
Really? I was wondering if i should start it or not
It's good as a romance but as a thriller? A joke of a story to the point where you just have to accept the ridiculous shit they pull throughout the story. I really enjoyed the first 6 or so episodes but it just got progressively worse.
Are all the highly rated cdramas on this site this fucking bad? Jesus Christ. Maybe it's bc the leads for most of these cdramas are pretty but I don't understand the high praise for shit like this.
I see you like baiting other dumb fans on this site. I disagree with you on the fact that she can't act. I already…
I mean the way you go about giving your opinion is pretty damn obnoxious which is why I said you enjoy baiting the fans. " I look first and foremost at the acting, the range of emotions that the actor can convey through their performance. " I mean sure I can agree somewhat but this just isn't the same as western media where I'd argue they place more importance on acting rather than looks. This kdrama and cdrama shit is different. I'm here for both acting and visuals. GYJ is beautiful enough to the point where I can watch her as the lead and her acting is like suzy's who I also enjoy watching. Neither are great but they're good at times in certain roles.
