Yea 100% kdramas BLEW up in international popularity during covid. I think some kdramas from the early 2010s have stood the test of time but I wouldn't put goblin there. Amazing OST however. I like to watch some of these older simple romcom kdramas with supernatural aspects every now and then sure but I can't say in any way that they're better then some of the high quality dramas we got post 2020.

kdramas have only gotten better now. Sure there's still a lot of garbage now but just as much as there was back then. I don't understand these takes because a lot of the iconic dramas really aren't that good and it feels like nostalgia talking. Some of the highest rated dramas of all time are from post 2020. One thing I can say that those older dramas did better was having super good and memorable osts.

The americans is a really good show but I doubt this shit will be any good. Disney+ always putting out disappointing dramas.

Where is the disrespect? I never insulted the actors themselves. Why should anyone respect a series they think is shit? just doesn't make sense. I finished the kdrama mouse the other day and thought it was utter garbage in every sense of the word and I can back up my opinion. honestly hayeong has stolen the show for me at this point. her character is just so likable in everything she does. the main couple has become so fucking boring by now and i can just tell the last few eps are going to be a mess.

I mean park hae young didn't miss with my liberation notes which was after my mister and this one looks pretty good too.
