Overall this is a good drama from overcoming every hurdles, betrayals and deaths. There are many support roles and each were given ample screen time though some needs more like Shen Qi. Ending was rushed and surprisingly, I wished this was more than 40 episodes. I often complained for dramas that are beyond 40 but this one is an exception. I love ZJY’s face on the screen, she delivered her emotions well. The Emperor died immediately like they don’t know how to end his character anymore. Will definitely rewatch this for the romance.
I have an honest question, does anyone notice when screen only focuses on hands of the FL, somewhat it doesn’t look like the actual hand of the actress. I noticed it in many c dramas since before and not only here. There are instances that the hands being focused on screen doesn’t fit the fl.

It's used by someone from your family or very closed friends or closer relationships. Like for example in West, for Tom, family and closed friends calls him Tommy, Edgar for Eddy, in Middle East, Abood for Abdulla, Nassor for Nasser, Fatoom for Fatima, and the list goes on. So, it is a form of endearment by someone close to you.
