it bothers me a bit that this writer really likes to put an old man and a young girl together and in this particular…
Did we watch the same drama? “act like his mom” meanwhile he’s also helping her overcome her struggles.
For the first time she smiled at work was because of the way he comfronted her rude boss and that lite up a spark in her.
And there’s no need to cry about his age, they’re both consenting adults in the drama, woman in her 30s and man in his 40s, Eun A frontal lobe is fully developed.
If Dong man was a wealthy cheabol character I’m sure non of y’all would be complaining about “old man, young girl”. togetherness.
NO! But you can expect meaningful dialogues, raw emotions, grey characters, life lessons, layered characters that…
it’s still not the plot driver, when they both sit and talk it’s more about their struggles and mental health.
Words of affirmation and great dialogues for romance is there, I’m not disputing that fact, I’m just saying it’s mostly in the background for the most part.
NO! But you can expect meaningful dialogues, raw emotions, grey characters, life lessons, layered characters that…
perhaps I should reiterate, but I’m not trying to force anyone to watch this, romance in this is almost nonexistent and very subtle. maybe very subtle is the word.
NO! But you can expect meaningful dialogues, raw emotions, grey characters, life lessons, layered characters that get peeled back as the episodes go on. And most importantly a beautifully written drama with great acting and directing.
bro who put this pfp theres SO many better out there😭😭 go youn jung has so many pfp worthy pictures
I usually am not very nosey, but I’m kind of curious when I looked at your watchlist, as someone who admires the writer of we are all trying here, I’m curious to know why you rated the drama 0.5?
I feel like people who find the ML annoying, do not understand how utterly lonely life can be, and sometimes all…
Thank you..... May I please add that there must be a backstory from the Dong Man's POV that most likely Jun Hwan also has noticed from the previous years and that is why he excuses his behaviour.
They have all been friends for 20 years and I do not believe him not being able to debut is the sole reason for why he behaves that way imo.
*****spoilers below****** In episode 1, at the 30:00 mark please watch until 30:30. There was a conversation between Eun Ah & her friend that people seem to have brushed past, (That conversation explains why Eun Ah may have picked interest in Dong Man).
I think Dong man may be resentful to his friends because some of them began giving him the silent treatment the moment they made it in the industry.
And why has he specifically picked on Gyeong Se and not Jun Hwan?
I am in no way defending his actions entire btw, but I will rather much have a friend who shows me their true colors and critics me to my face rather than behind my back.
Many people have circle if friends who they gossip about behind their backs but are the first one to critic someone who has the guts to say it in their presence.
Watched the trailer and WOW… I am now even more excited to watch this. I think there will be a lot of laughing, crying & healing but will 12 episodes be enough! Anyway, I’m glad it’s on Netflix so I can watch comfortably. I love the casting a lot.
Regarding her portrayal of Byeon Eun Ah, she said, "I thought a lot about how to effectively convey the nuances of her inner world, focusing on details like subtle glances, the rhythm of her speech, and the intonation at the end of her sentences. Since she is a character with a lot of blank space, I tried to firmly fill that space."
I love reading intelligent interviews from actors, especially when they understand the characteristics their character should portray, I am looking forward to your nuanced acting go Youn Jung, I know you will deliver, lets gooooo.......
“I fast forwarded” 🙄
bye 👋
