This is the main reason why I stopped watching Korean dramas for over 2 months, I just can't with all the beauty standards they input in their society. So, a girl is your best friend because they're 'pretty' but as you as you see her without makeup she's no longer your friend? And yes, I understand the whole lying issue here, but is it really lying when she is only using makeup? I mean, makeup can change you but not drastically so she had to be beautiful before and the makeup only brings out her features..
Im definitely not watching Lee Do Hyun kissing Kim Ha Neul. NOPEEE
He is 25, a grown adult, what's the issue with it? Now, in the drama he is 18 (body wise) but since she found out it's him, then he is no longer 18 but instead, it's her husband in front of her. I don't see an issue here?
Park Bo Gum I'm so sorry sweetie, whoever made you do this drama must be fired! This could easily be a movie, it would've done better that way, the story wasn't long enough for a 16 episode drama, it dragged on for way too long. My reaction to the drama as a whole? Meh...
"Start-Up" is literally everything "Record of Youth" wanted to be but failed to deliver. With only 4 episodes "Start-Up" is proving to be a good drama with a well-thought deliver plan to all it's viewers, a must watch.
This right here is how you make a drama, was it perfect? No, but it was so well executed that even the one or two flaws passed unnoticed. The ending was also heart warming and emotional, but still left us wanting a bit more. This one is definitely one of the best dramas of 2020!
After watching episode 13 I feel like I'm watching 100 dramas in one, what's happening! The writing is ALL over the place which is sad because the acting is amazing.
I'm sorry but the game scene totally made me go into water season mode. Lee Do Hyun is totally proving himself with this acting role, watch him become next-year big thing.
That's how I felt watching this drama, sadly.
This one is truly a gem, possibly the best Korean BL to date. #PrayingForSeason2
The first episode was just *chefs kiss*!

It started off strong (yet weak due to plot holes) but now it's just bad.
