I watched this drama on Prime and while the story had potential at the start while they were children, once they became adults the story was very sloppy. Characters do things that make NO sense. In fact if I wasn't familiar with Chinese dramas ; I'd think that the translations were wrong and someone just made up the dialogue . If I can find it somewhere else, I'm going to see if the translations are better.
Okay if this is how the series ends I will never watch anything from this writer again! You don't disrespect fans who have stuck with a crazy show like this without finishing the story-lines. I hope they have enough film to make a couple more episodes and wrap this up properly.

I feel you! I think DM in the hospital is a red herring because the previews show SB getting married to SW. BHR has clearly gained the ability to see ghosts and glimpses of the future; probably a side effect of having been possessed by SW for such a long time. So she'll probably become a huge TV star. It still looks like PSH is going to marry AM.

Breaking it off was being his true self. He's not a cheater so when he figured out that he was so strongly attracted to PSY he knew the love he felt for NGB wasn't enough to live the rest of his life with her; that getting married to NGB would be unfair to both of them.
I rewatched SDM and NGB last scene, where he breaks up with her, he told that he loves her, but he needs stronger…
What he said was that yes he loves her but he realized that the love he feels for her isn't enough for them to get married... which I can completely understand. (NGB is pretty bland and needy. She seems to bring out the protective instincts in the men who are attracted to her. ) PSY caught his interest on the golf course but she's an attractive woman so no biggie in his mind; but when he heard her scream he could hear all her conflicting emotions and it licked a switch and turned him on. That's what made him change his mind about getting married to NGB, it a bad idea to get married to one woman if you are THAT sexually attracted to different woman.
I don't know about the better plot... but I think the AIB main characters are more interesting
