I do not want to pronounce myself about news appeared in different media, but please be careful and do not damned people who has not been punished after a trial in a court. Informations published about this case are purely that, just news, not criminal charges to be presented to a court of justice. Even if charges arrive to the court, the actor has of course his right of defense before the court takes a decision. Until that moment, the presumption of innocence is a principle of all democratic countries' legal framework, and South Korea respect of course such principle.

A second part of the drama absolutely outstanding, not deceiving at all. Congrats to producers, writers and the full cast and crew for this marterpiece.

An excellent plot to me, and a first season very promising. Only two comments: 1. Ununderstable the cut after the 8 episodes of what seems to be the same 16-episode drama; we have to wail months to the second part; it is not two seasons, it is the same drama divided into two parts. 2 . It seems that producers consider Song Hye Kuo matching better with younger male leads (not only this drama, but also Encounter or We are breaking now), well, I can even accept that. But I do not understand in this drama the age gap (around 10 years difference) between members of the cast who are supposed to be classmates. Let's wait the second part.

The main plot is adapted from a Spanish theatre play, Trees die standing tall, writen by Alejandro Casona in 1949 (https://www.scenicrights.com/en/projects/arboles-mueren-pie). Of course, additional elements of the story (divided families from the two Koreas, hotel business, romance, heirs fighting for succession...) have been added to provide more content to a 16 episodes drama. The final result, in my opinion, is a very attractive drama, quite consistent and with excellent performances from the cast.
