SPOILER : It's a drama about taking bad decisions and then regretting them all your life, or a good part of it. Very good life lesson about what happens when you don't have the guts to tell the person you love how you truly feel about her and how being extremely shy and indecisive can ruin your life in the worst ways! Even if Shota had not secretly taken the book with the love note and hidden it all those years, Aoi should have plucked up the courage the night of the fireworks and just tell her how he felt, that's what I think, but he just wasn't man enough! Which makes him an idiot, really. I mean, the girl practically took the initiative and kissed him, and he just stood there... That's why it's interesting until the end, to see who she chose, because the choice is very hard for her, and I presume, for any girl in her shoes, about who to choose between the guy who stood by her and took care of her supported her (even when her own father abandoned her like garbage and started himself a new family, that was gruesome!!) and who definitely loved her all this time, even though he did that trick to get her, nevertheless that can be overlooked in view of his other qualities, and the other guy, who has always been an insecure, not dependable, always-failing-by-an-inch-in-everything-that-he-did kind of guy ? Who will she choose in the end? I don't know yet, I have yet to see the final episode.
