Oh wow a year already? That’s a long time. I haven’t gotten into many Chinese shows yet but I just finished My Dear Lady which was nice. Very fluffy. If you ever decide to make an article about why you should try : Thai BL, please let me know haha I’d like to give some input :)

Cute article. I’m glad that Thai dramas are coming to the forefront in MDL. Personally, I just started to watch them more myself recently but I started about two years ago with a drama here and there. Now I’m fully hooked that I am taking a break from kdramas lol. I definitely think the rapid improvement and growing interest around Thai dramas will make them intriguing to watch.

I was going to say the same thing that chiffoncake is really passionate about this show/novel LOL. This user pretty much said what I wanted to say to you too. The show did a terrible job at translating the intentions of Type's character in that particular scene. And Tharn kissing Type in EP 1 without consent is ludicrous even though the intention behind it was revenge. It was clearly wrong and this show has a lot of imperfections which is why I liked it. And the characters grow from those mistakes. But the short amount of EPs this show had does not get that through to many viewers. However, for many BL watchers, it is an extremely uncomfortable watch which is reasonably understandable. I totally respect your opinion on this show.

I completely understand why you are irked out with that scene. It bothered me too but as I saw the show, I understood why. However, what he did is still completely wrong and a lot of BLs have this in their plot. This show is by no means perfect but I think you should give it a chance if you can. Also, if you want a BL that avoids this type of scene, I would recommend Sotus, Sotus S, and My Engineer :)

Honestly, when I saw the trailer on YouTube coincidentally, I knew I would love this drama and I do ! The acting is amazing and it's so relatable especially in times like these. I hope more people give this drama a chance worldwide.
