Anyone who makes a fanvideo about Ruan Lan Zhu and Ling Jiu Shi using the song Angel Baby by Troye Sivan will be forever appreciated by me. Whenever i hear that song, i think about them. The lyrics fit them and fit the theme of The Spirealm perfectly.

Lan Zhu is cold and scary towards other people. But, to Jiu Shi, he is tender and caring. My heart is melting. As tough as Lan Zhu is, but when Jiu Shi is mad at him, he is like a puppy. Ahhhh wifey power.

I refuse to believe it is a bromance. It’s the bond for life that i think lovers fit better than friends or brothers. Not to mention, the hints of romantic jealousy.

This show is a master piece. They indeed invested a lot of money into it. Too bad it isn’t allowed to be broadcast inside China, which tremendously affects its revenue. How can Chinese producers keep producing high quality BLs like this if they barely make any money in return? Chinese censorship sucks.

Count me in lol

I enjoyed this drama. The downside is that it has only 6 eps which makes the climax in ep 5 and the climax resolving in ep 6 rushed. It would be perfect if it had 8 eps. Regardless i still love it because of many other aspects including visuals, cinematography, acting, chemistry and trope. Is it just me that feels like Robin always goes all-in in the kiss/intimate scenes? I do feel like he really wants to kiss Makoto. Makoto on the other hand doesn’t convince me when they kiss. I will give this drama 9.5 just because of Robin. He gives me butterflies.

I’m on ep 4. Love it so far but the negative comments about ep 5 and 6 make me scared. Will watch the last two eps tonight.

I’m just finished with ep 1 and hooked. This is my favorite formula of a BL couple. One is confident while one is uncertain. And, the confident one patiently chases after the uncertain one. Iwanaga chasing after Miyata is so cute (remind me of Mork chasing after Pi). Love Iwanaga’s confidence. The actors are super handsome. The acting is top notch. Don’t even get me started with cinematography which is always a forte of JBLs. Love it.

This uncut vesrion includes some scenes that weren’t shown in the serial version.

Goodbye Lonely Heart hit me hard. I also like Shining Star. I mean i like all of them music in this series.

Ahh, SWM is my all time fav. If you say so, i will give LFLS a try.

Originally BL is a woman’s fantasy about 2 guys falling in love with each other. In the BL world, there are no stereotypes, prejudices or stigmas about homosexuality. On the other hand, a queer movie depicts real life problems that a queer person has to face. Long story short, BL is fantasy while queer movie is real life.
