Just watched episode 71 & 72 and still nothing is happening, no war, no new emperor, no major event changes. What's…
Sure, ban me then. Let the trolls spread gossip on your website. Kick out someone that's being helpful in favor of those who want to cause disorder. Your policing and intuition are on point...

"Blossom Lin" and his alternate accounts love you so much. Have fun banning genuine users. Good day.

The usernames "Alex Sane", "Sazz O" and "Blossom Lin" are the same person.
Press ctrl and F key on the keyboard to search for their comments.
You can search my comments as well. I got nothing to hide. Compare my comments and theirs, my comments have more substance(I wrote out specific details about what happened in the show) as I've actually watched it. Meanwhile their comments are vague, with little detail to back it up. They didn't even bother to write out the character names.

With all the fake news and misinformation on the internet, always be on the lookout for falsehoods.

Hope you enjoy this drama.

Buddy, do you even know what you're talking about? The 2nd highest rated C-drama on this site behind Nirvana in…
"To me, this is a drama with much potential that wasn't realized."

The production is already finished. There isn't anything anyone can do about it. Thinking about a "what if" scenario in regards to a TV show is a waste of time since you can always just change the channel and watch something else.

"Let me just explain it this way: judging by the beginning alone, I was expecting something on the level of NIF, but it's not even close at this point."

I feel like you set your expectations way too high and now you're unable to enjoy this show for what it is instead of what you want it to be.

FYI, "Nirvana in Fire 2" already came out, you can watch that instead or wait till 2019 for Novoland:Eagle Flag (rumored to be an even higher budget production than this Tribes & Empires).

Why do you care so much about ratings?.

Just because it has a low rating doesn't mean it's bad. "Princess Agents" has a score of 5.0 out of 10 on douban yet it has become the most watched drama in China with over 50 billion views and over 230 million views on YouTube. In showbiz, it's all about the viewership. A show with a low rating that everyone watches is preferred over a highly rated show that no one watches.

Honestly, if you like this show, keep watching.
If you don't like it, drop it and watch something else.

On Novoland: Eagle Flag Dec 26, 2017
I saw this comment on the Tribes and Empires page.
Credit to member"Erudite" for the information about this drama:

* = Novoland: Eagle Flag (NEF) and Wings of Winds

Before Tribes and Empires (TAE) released their first dramatic trailer in 2016, they had already worked extremely hard for more than one year unbeknownst to most people at that time.

The situation with NEF is much like TAE in early 2015, but a major difference, the Novoland IP has exploded, but the requirement for secrecy in production and shooting remains.

In comparison with Tribes and Empires's budget of between RMB300 to 400 million (45-60 million USD) for 75 episodes, "Eagle Flag" has been given a budget exceeding RMB500 millon (75.6 million USD) for 56 episodes.

Sources in Chinese for budget:

http://sinastorage.com/storage.caitou.sina.com.cn/products/201703/55df21edd0ab6fa47b2310e640e00420.jpeg

The 2nd link indicated that Legend of Fu Yao will have a budget of rmb500million, but NEF will be the most expensive TV series ever produced by Linmon Pictures.

Prior to shooting, NEF already had 14 months of preproduction, with a crew of over 1000 people finished constructing structures at more than a dozen locations, including building a "city" at the great plains we saw in Tribes and Empires (TAE).
(Taking place more than 600 years before TAE, there was a Northen Capital in NEF).

These were the original shooting schedules for NEF (might be off by a few months)
Xinjiang : 2017 Sept - Nov
Xiangyang: 2017 Oct - 2018 Feb (main filming location for Nan Huai, the 2nd greatest human city in Novoland)
Xinjiang : 2018 Mar - Apr
Beijing : 2018 Apr - May
Scotland : 2018 Jan (yes, in UK)

So far only 14 members of the main cast has been revealed. As late as Oct 2017, open casting calls for auditions of some minor characters were still being published. Liu Haoran (Nirvana in Fire 2) and Lareina Song (The King's Avatar)played the human and winged tribe leads.

I watched till episode 40. I am quite disappointed from the lack of character development. Specially the main…
The first 40 episodes are actually the best parts. Full of intrigue, adventure and mystery. The pacing is a bit slow but it's understandable given the large ensemble of characters and vast world-building aspects.

I feel like your comment about character development was just copied and pasted from Michael Tang's review above. I found the main characters in this show to be well rounded each with their own personalities and goals. Compared to the other Asian dramas that are on-air, this show really stands out.

As you are in episode 50, please, can you give me a spoiler? Did Pan Xi really die in episode 37?
After episode 37, Pan xi appears a couple of times as an illusion in Muyun sheng's mind(when he's studying magic).

Mr.Mo(evil tattooed spellcaster) was the one that collected some of Pan Xi's spirit into his snake wand. Only Mr.Mo and another bad guy knows about it. Everyone else assumed Pan Xi was gone.

Also, in episode 47 there's a scene where Muyun sheng drops the glass bead into a river. Then it zooms out to a far away lake where a flower sprouts out. So there are a few signs that Pan Xi might still be around.

can anyone tell me what exactly happens in episode 24, with muyun sheng and the king? did he really come back…
In episode 24, when Muyun sheng and Pan xi entered the emperor's mind, they found him trapped in a state of limbo (unable to move on due to his immense guilt over Yin Rong's death). Later, Pan xi connected to Muyun sheng's dark spirit half and combined their magic to heal the emperor. The human side of Muyun was passed out during the event and wasn't aware of what's going on.

Can anyone please tell me when this finishes airing?
There are 46 RAW episodes already available. The airing schedule is 10-12 episodes a week. So it should finish in the first week of January 2018.

The english subtitled episodes on dramafever should be done on 1/18/18 or 1/19/18.

In this website, it says there are 6 main roles. I'm on episode 22 but I still don't know who Muyun Yan Shuang…
Muyun Yan Shuang is the princess in warrior gear (shows up in episode 3) who bought Shuofeng Heye to work as a slave fighter.

Yes, there is some romance in this drama. There are 3 protagonists each with their own love interest.
There is a minor arc where Su Yuning (who loves Han Jiang) is about to get married to Muyun Sheng (who loves Panxi) but during the wedding ceremony everything falls apart. The reason for the wedding was due to the prophecy: Muyuen Sheng was foretold to become the emperor and Su Yuning as the empress. Other than that, no love triangle except for some secondary characters who have feelings for the protagonists.
