#1 I think he is aware, because in earlier episode someone attacked Xie Mei, he felt the pain too. And then he went to save her. And his friend also mentioned few times that it is going to be hard on her. I think the bonding may have more meaning than he is not aware of.

Lu Qian qiao wants to change his bones to become mortal from war demon. In earlier episodes, somebody asked him about the human bones, but he denied the human bones because he doesn't want to kill anyone. So, he suggested to use animal bones. From the recent episode, it seems Lao Su is going to donate his bones to him. But Lu qian qiao is unaware of this fact.
I first started the series when it was on air then dropped after 4 episodes. Started to watch again still don't like the first story. Second story was okay. Third story is my favorite. I like FaifaWine's story most. Not only was their story better than the other stories in the series, but it was also better than the many series out there. They knew the concept that " Communication is the key" and wholeheartedly embraced that. Apart from them I also liked arm sand po trio. They had over the top reactions, which made their scenes funny.
