Aww the nostalgia! I've actually seen all of the dramas mentioned above and this just took me back. This era was what reeled me in and somehow I just couldn't get myself to stop watching either. The fashion, the music, the actors/actresses... I can hardly believe it's been so long.
One drama that wasn't mentioned that still remains my favorite drama of all time is Mars (2004) with Vic Zhou and Barbie Hsu. If you haven't seen it, you should definitely check it out . It's based on a manga by the same name and it is also great. A very dark and mature story that still somehow seems to leave a hopeful and positive impression.

Haha. You know this is actually encouraging. When I tell people I love Asian Dramas, they say it's a passing phase.…
I myself thought at one point it would be a passing phase, buuut I think it's safe to say it has become a solid part of my lifestyle now. I have had times when I've consciously tried to stay away from dramas (mostly due to school or work), but somehow I always find my way back. :D

I can relate to all of the above mentioned "accidents" and I have encountered them myself time and time again. I've been in to dramas for almost 13 years now and those years have also included 4 different schools/4 different levels of education for my part. Sadly, binge watching dramas and studying doesn't seem to mix well together. I'm currently working on my second dissertation and I'm still just as easy a prey for the drama world as I was as a teenager. Sitting an entire day writing on my laptop and continuing by watching dramas in the evenings... let's just say I always end up sleeping with my head against my desk. :)
