sorry for late reply, I've just moved to germany and couldn't use internet.

Latin is really important when people are studying european language like German, English not to mention Spanish and Italian. I started learing spanish after half a year of learingn Latin and spanish seemed to be totally easy. I don't think Latin is very easy but I didn't have problems with that. I really enjoyed stydying it. I wish I could learn some more. it was so exciting for me when after only one term I translated short texts from Latin into Polish. oh, wow! you went to Rome! so cool! I've never been there. it must be wonderful there!

yeah, to mix both methods is the best solution. but I know the teacher and how he teaches so the kids don't know they can learn in other way.

oh, Polish have quite a lot sounds which may sounds the same for foreigners which are completely different sounds for Poles.

now I'm watching 'coffeeprince'- it's cute and almost all people here love it. I like it but it's not my favourite type of drama. or maybe I got too old to be soooo excited about such a drama. have you seen it?

I've just have a look at my list and i saw I started 'my girl' but I dropped it after the first ep. now I can recall it- just the female lead annoyed me.

I've heard that 'my gf is a gumiho' is really good and I liked shin mina a lot in 'arang and the magistrate'

I was about to found a jandi's antifanclub. I don't think the character was that bad. the actres was. she exaggerated everything so that it was more like a parody not a 'real' drama.

I haven't seen 'my girl'. what was that about? I haven't seen 'my Gf is a guminho' but it's on my list. I've seen the rest. they're good dramas. now I'm watching 'good doctor'. 'two weeks' and 'cruel city'- I feel they can end up in my top 5 :D

correct lol

it's a lot! it's hard to deal with! I'm going to germany I hope to work as well but I'm a bit afraid I'll have so much to do at uni that i won't have time for work.

'no thx' :D (polish people say 'i don't thank you' if you wish them 'good luck'- it's an old custom, this way you should protect from failure.) what it's the most frustrating to me is that if I write an essay in a foreign language and I feel I do it wel (I mean not only the content but also the language) I'm so proud of myself but then I read my work again and I can't believe I wrote such rubbish hahaha

I'm preparing myself for leaving to germany. I'm already quite stressed. and I got totally lazy. it's always this way when I have to leave home and go back to work :D

maybe he's too lazy or have no idea what he should do. but I somehow lean towrads him being lazy and not caring about that.

that's right! I have nothing against people who can't pronounce the sound well. I think I can do it quite well but I'm still far away from perfect. and actually the research shows we can learn it untill age of 4 and after that only very few of us. but still we should at least try. bad pronunciation can lead to misunderstandings. a very big part od producing right sounds is hearing them correctly. I know many people who are aware of the fact they can't distinguisch between some sounds, they just don't hear any difference. it happened to me a few times that i was asked to show someone how a word such be pronounced and then the person repeated that and I was wondering if they can't hear it or if I don't say it right even though I think my pronounciation was at least

of course! if you believe you're gonna fail, probably you will. nad you don't have to be a teacher to know these wrods can't said to anyone.

latin's great! i loved it. i really regret I had lation classes only for a year.our teacher was a very original guy. but you could see he loves that what he's doing. and he had enormous knowledge not only about latin and ancient culture but about world in general.what we did quite often was taking some latin words and expressions and we studies their grammaticsl form, literal meaning and present meaning.it was so interesting to be able to watch how a meaning can change over centuries.I didn't know there are that many latin words and expressions!

it was just something new to them it happens in Poland very often as well I mean that 'communicative' teaching,it's nothing new and weird.i think it just the teacher who doesn't feel like making them talk.

my first drama with LMH was Ch as I said and I was so excited during and after watching that I wanted to watch something else quickly. so I started BOF and I was so disappointed- Jandi is horrible and she spoilt the whole drama which anyway couldn't compete with CH but still. then I saw 'personal taste' and I was laughing all the time, it's so funny! I love action and revenge dramas- the best genre to me, but of course it's a matter of taste so there's no point to discuss. there are some dramas which were so great to me that after watching them I didn't know what to watch next, everything seemed not good enough. like CH, 'the bridal mask' or 'nine time travel'. have you ever had such a feeling? it doesn't happen that often since there are many good dramas but not that many brilliant ones.

after a short time a watched a small drama with shinee Minho. rather cause I love Minho than that I wanted to watch a drama. I didn't really watch any series. the drama was nothing special. after a few months I don't know why I started 'city hunter' and I was in love after, i don't know, 15 min? the drama was so great that I wanted to watch more LMH and it's how it started. I think I started watching CH cause I'd heard quite much about LMH that he's famous and so on but I didn't really see him acting. so I gave it a try. I don't know why it was CH, maybe cause at that time it was his newest production.

I believe t-dramas are very very very naive but they're cute at the same time. yes, I've seen 'devil beside you' since I'd heard so many good opinions about it and I liked it a lot! whta's problematic to me in t-dramas is that the eps are so long. I don't like it. I love watching dramas but for me the shortest drama the better hahah since I have no time to get bored and I get bored quite quickly.

I had a classmate. we were in the same class for 2 years already but we weren't friends. we even didn't talk to each other very often. sometimes only when we singed together. one day when we were preparing ourselves for a performance she said: listen to that! it was shinee's 'ring ding dong'. from now on we became friends, we spend much time together and started exploring the culture. she knew more then me and she told be she watched a korean drama. at the beginning I wasn't interested at all.

of course! i'm sure I'll make wonderful friend.

I can understand people studying philosophy as a hobby but if it's the only course I find the people not thinking abut their future. but once I met a guy who studied philosophy but you know- I can't think about him doing anything else! everything he did, the way he spoke, everything fitted the philosophy so well! :D

it's always good to have common interests! we can share our knowledge and learn from each other. and of course we have fun :D

just one thing back to uni topic: I complain so much about my uni but it makes me wonder that even though I find so many classes boring, useless and poorly prepared I discover that I've learnt many different things! but still not that much I could and I wish

haha next essay! :D

the point why people advise me against becoming a teacher is that the job is badly paid if you work in a public school. the other thing is that the kids behave badly, are ungrateful and spoilt. so teachers brake their backs to teach them anything and they don't give a damn about their effort. it's so demotivating! the job is not respected as it should be. at least cause of responsibility the teachers take on their shoulders.

I'm gonna pay 195 euro/month for my dormitory. I met a few germans and they told me it's a really good price. on lady told me her son or daughter lives in leipzig with a friend in a flat and they pay together 380 euro/month. i find it relatively chep- with 'relatively' I mean from the point of view of a polish person since it's quite expensive in germany for us Poles

a great pile of homework. it's a vicious circle. you have to have great experience to work but nobody lets go gain it.

I still didn't chose a supervisor. my uni's so amazing that I'll have to do it when I'm already in germany. I have to find someone whom i can contact on internet. it's gonna be hard to write this thesis since I'm really not interested in that kind of stuff. teaching in practise is very interesting but learning and talking about that useless stuff like teaching theories is boring and annoying.

the most problems in keeping the students in discipline occurred in lowest classes, in 4th and 5th classes cause they don't understand english/german. and it the older classes I scold them in the target language so they either didn't understand and felt insecure or they understood but didn't know what to respond.

they're not used to speaking. and they even took offence at me. can you believe?

pronunciation is a next story: hate people who don't pay attention to that. especially when they're teachers or study languages to be teachers and interpreters. it's a symptom of ignorance as for me. i'm aware pronunciation is something you have to learn for years and one of conditions to learn it correctly is to hear the sounds well. but people don't care! so annoying! and that teacher- she corrects student who have better accent than she has although she herself is not really good at it.

yes! it's so stupid you have to have so much experience right after your studies. the question is: how can you do it? at polish university in most cases there are really many classes during a week and it's impossible to work and when you have some free time at weekends you have no power and willing for that and
