GYJW had a lot of misunderstanding about TTJ. It would be have been nice to see that being cleared up. Would have loved to see NBY get his happy ending. I feel so sad for PR and YQY.

I don't understand why youku didn't even give us an epilogue. They did so with their other dramas, even TBOY which aired shortly before TTEOTM.

Yes exactly. TTJ and LSS we can at least be hopeful but it still would have been good to see them reunite. YQY became so lonely in the end, did he finally find PR? And even though I didn't care much about our 2nd cp, I still though MN was sort of more interesting than YBC and even if GYJW was stupid I, I loved XL.

Yes poor us....Seriously, they should have kept this red thread scene instead of the prolonged nightmare scene with the messy editing in epi 33.

I check those sites too along with dramapotatoe and jaynestars. But they have no daily updates. So it's mostly relying on melon accs and fan accs on twt.

That's an interesting point you've made. I also think it's a combination of things. Being alive, having a love thread and having immortal essence inside of him. These are the things he was not supposed to have but having them made him strong enough to resist ADG. So yeah it's also pretty much what he says. In the original timeline, he didn't have a love thread so he could not experience emotions and fully live the life of a mortal. He also didn't experience Bo're life and learn immortal arts.

I haven't read the novel yet though I do plan to check it out. But from what I gathered it is indeed different. Before filming the drama LYX and BL asked the production if they should read the novel, but they were told there is no need and they should only read the script because the drama is quite different from the novel.

Yeah that's part of the problem. There are hardly many sites and very few reviewers. You have to keep up with all the melon ( c-ent news and gossip ) accs on twt, fan accs, reviewers and put everything together by yourself. But even those can be biased, so you have to take everything with a pinch of salt.
