On 7th Grade Civil Servant Mar 12, 2013
I just had to read the recap of episode 14 on Dramabeans because I don't have a freakin' clue what is going on in this drama anymore..but as it happens, I'm not the only one! I wanna love it but I'm confused :/

I already am a himono-onna with Supermalt instead of beer, haha. Yeah Iris looks really good and I see its on your faves list. Their bickering in HNH is so funny. She's such a cute clutz. Butt scratching forgiven when you're that cute. hehe.

I absolutely loved Ojakgyo Brothers so I'm hoping this one will be good too :)
It's even better!

Just thought I would alert you to Rascal Sons. Its another 50 ep family drama still airing but in the 40s. It is recommended to people who liked Unexpected You and Ojakyo Brothers and its also got the dude from Reply 1997 in it. I have started it and now I'm finding it hard to stop so I'll let you know how it goes but I think this genre is amazing. What is drama without Family Dramas I ask myself. :)

I dunno if something was lost in translation, but apart from some humour in the first few episodes thanks to Dok Mi's hermit character and Que Geums aegyo there really wasn't much substance to this drama at all. Disappointed.

Well personally I like the couple although I'm seeing plenty of comments about the lead females attractiveness or lack of it which is a shame because she is funny and endearing. I also like the humour. The only thing I haven't liked so far (without giving too much of a spoiler) is that the story suddenly switches its location/time. I thought it was gonna focus a lot more on the Spyschool where there was plenty of room for hi-jinx and character development. I also think Chansung is doing a pretty good job for a rookie. If it can keep up its comic factor and draw us into the romance a little more I think it can succeed. So up to here I think you would enjoy it ,but maybe wait til its finished to hear the full reviews.

Well hulloooooo ol' Dramalist chum. Thanks I'm good.I stayed up late last night marathonning Gaksital. I have to say I loved it from about episode 10 up. I shouted and screamed at the screen so many times, everyone thought I'd gone insane. Joo Won has really won my heart. I loved him in Ojak Bros but in Gaksital he truly was King of the Scowls. Both he and Shunji were amazing. Oh Mok Dan grew on me in the end too. I loved the costumes, styling and the overall epicness of the fight scenes and it basically had me on the edge of my bed all week! Haha. So thankyou for recommending it to me so highly. I'm about to get my Joo Won fix in Level 7 Civil Servant eps 9 and 10 tonight. If you like Joo Won then I think you will enjoy it, thus far, anyway. I've been disappointed by Flower Boy Next Door though. Are you into any dramas lately? I've seen a trailer for a drama called 9 times time travel with our beloved Bang Yi Sook. Sorry I'm so bad with actors names! I plan to watch it simply because she's so cute. Hope I'm not disappointed.
On Nobunaga no Chef Feb 17, 2013
I'm finding this drama really captivating! I like seeing the challenge each episode for ken to 1.Replicate modern dishes with the ingredients available in the Sengoku period and 2. Win over the "enemy" each week with thoughtful preparation of his dishes. Something really different and unique for me! Plus he's hot haha.

Well the one I'm enjoying the most that is out is Level 7 Civil Servant because it is packing in comedy, action and romance. If you are a Joo Won fan you will definitely like it. Flower Boy needs a change of scene... I wish they would go somewhere else other than outside the apartments!!!

Looks good too. Is that one of the dudes from Harvest Villa in it? (The one with the bad perm) Yes, Japanese dramas seem slower to sub too. :( I watched ep 3 of Saikou no rikon last night and lolled out loud. It made me laugh from the opening scenes.

Oops sorry I thought I had replied to you but I didn't. My brain is in tatters. I am watching a lot of currently airing dramas so there are waits in between and I was watching Innocent Man whilst waiting. Its good but not at all lighthearted and I prefer something silly and cheery most of the time. Just started this Japanese drama Saikou no rikon which is really LOL funny. ^^
