I liked the bookshop setting and the beautiful actress in her vintage-lace outfit in the first episode but as for the story I will need to give it another episode before I can make up my mind. Interesting idea but will it work?..not sure yet, I'll comment again..

Hong Se Na from Rooftop Prince..or maybe she was just evil? I'm also irritated by Shin in Hwa in Cheongdamdong Alice, the way she glides around with that "too sleek" hair. I guess if evil characters are annoying then they are playing their part well.

Ha ha I love Uee in it! Even though I mentally couldn't get rid of the name Evil Hamster that my friend gave her in You're Beautiful but now I see her differently as she really plays her heartwarming role well. She was funny in the beginning too as a total brat! Loved her drunken frenzy at the police station etc. OK, we can compare Alice notes once I've seen a few more eps.....:D

My daughter seo young has Jungshin in it , right? I wanted to watch that when it began but it seems the subs were very slow to come out..is that still the case? I'm just finishing up Ojakgyo Brothers which I am liking a lot then gonna catch up with some of the currently airing dramas I've started like Cheongdamdong Alice. Hehe, I dropped by bearing gifts of dramas to watch but then I read your latest update so I'm guessing you won't have the time. Where do you watch your variety shows? I'd like to watch more but I only find odd disjointed playlists on youtube or dailymotion. Where do the cool kids watch variety shows? Anyways, I know how you loved and miss UY so I just wanted to say that I am currently on ep 54 of Ojakgyo Brothers and I feel it will go some way into compensating you for the end of UY. It is a good one so move over variety and bring back the drama! All the best for 2013! ^^

I'm only on episode 8 but its very watchable. Initially I thought the house was the same set as for UY except there is a window where the room branched into their kitchen and theres a Halmoni JUST like grandma in UY too. I am really getting into it though it doesn't have the hilarity of UY its still a good plot.(s)
