Lighthearted and fun

I watched this after watching Our Blues in hopes of some lighthearted, feel-good comedy and it did not disappoint.

After meeting her younger self, Ha Ni gradually opens herself up to receiving a better life. I like the fact that her dreams are definitely not the same as those of her younger self (becoming a popular singer), but she still fights to have a better life and remains open to jobs and relationships she didn't feel like she deserved before after blaming herself for trauma. I do wish that she spent a little bit more time thinking about what exactly she wanted at this stage in life, but it is cool to see that she becomes generally open to experiencing more positive things.

I love that she is able to rebuild her support system through unlikely meetings, and the male lead is really sweet and supportive. He's more of a friend than a romantic partner until the very end, but I didn't mind it. They threw in a few scenes to make it clear that he was in fact interested in Ha Ni, but it felt a little disjointed, and Ha Ni didn't seem to think of him as more than a friend until the end. But their friendship was cute and he was sweet and entertaining as well as being really thoughtful and caring. He matured much later than his cousin, but I think it was cool how his love for his dad and Ha Ni and everyone around him helped him develop responsibility.

There were definitely a lot of plot holes when it came to the time travel element and their interactions with the shaman, but it was entertaining nonetheless. I will say that the last episode felt a bit anti-climactic, although there were a couple lose ends that needed to be addressed.
