There’s something so powerful about Our Movie that it leaves you breathless without even trying. The acting? suuuuper Insane. it is so raw and real that you don’t just watch the emotions you feel them deeply. Honestly i dont remember crying that much with a kdrama but with this one i’ve cried during most of the episodes because the performances are THAT GOOD!!!!
[spoiler] But episode 10???? That one crushed me!!!!! The way FL breaks down, saying she wants to live even though she’s terminally ill it made me cry like a BABYYYY in a way that hurt so much like I wasn’t ready.
And beyond the emotions, the drama is just so well done. The way it’s directed? super Genius. like i’m so obsessed with how they blend her camcorder footage into the actual storyline it’s so smooth and adds this personal, intimate layer that makes everything hit harder. It never feels forced. Everything feels intentional like from the way scenes are framed to how the story flows. Even the soundtrack is perfect not overused, not cheesy it is just perfectly timed to elevate every moment. I genuinely think this is the best K-drama I’ve ever connected with it’s not just well acted, it’s thoughtfully made. !!!
