I normally don't like romance dramas, so when I saw that this drama was the second highest rated C-drama here, I was inclined to skip it after finishing Nirvana in Fire (phenomenal drama!). I started on this drama one day, curious to see what the hype was all about. I found myself binging on this drama, surprisingly. The cinematography, the soundtrack, the actors, the script all come together to produce this wonderfully heart-wrenching, moving romance/fantasy drama. Yes, even this cold romance cynic was thoroughly enjoying the drama. Even if some parts did make me squirm a bit (especially at the start of the secondary romance), but the idea of love lasting life after life (the amnesia trope might be an overused one, but I liked it here) somehow makes my heart ache. Sure, I don't like it as much as Nirvana in Fire, which is still my favourite C-drama ever, but this drama is still impressive in its own right. So - even if you don't like romantic dramas, do try and watch this.

I'll never get tired of Oguri Shun in detective/crime dramas, he's definitely one of the top actors in this genre. Can't wait for subtitles!
