I actually heard the opposite about Soo Ae, that she is regarded as a good actress. I watched only one of her other projects, Midnight FM, and she was great there. As for Mask, I don't find her acting to be bad, it's just that her character is so annoying! But don't worry, there's character development and she becomes much better starting with episode 10 I think.

I agree 100%. The movie has a really interesting premise, but it was poorly executed, which is very unfortunate...

The whole time while watching the drama, I knew that everyone was hiding a secret and I expected to be something really bad, so I was so surprised and touched that there was a noble cause behind their secrecy. Also, as someone who tends to be attracted to persons very different from me, I identified a lot with the heroine. She didn't love (romantically) the guy who had the same background, who always loved and was behind her, she loved the other guy, who had a bright personality. One represented the past, reminding her of all her struggles he witnessed, while the other represented the future, hope, who she aspired to be.

This drama didn't impress me with the mystery plot, maybe because I've watched too many mystery dramas and movies. However, it's one of the few dramas that got a 10 from me because it impressed me in so many other ways! It offers a glimpse into human soul and it's the only drama that made me emotional and still has me thinking about it once in a while. One line that stayed with me is this one: "Good memories can be more depressing than sad memories", but there are many other good ones, the writing is magnificent.

Same here! I kind of disliked him because I didn't understand all the hype (didn't impress me in YWCFAS), but he totally won me over after I watched more of his projects, especially The Producers.

I agree, this is a bad picture. What bothers me the most is that the face foundation is way too light and it shows if you look at his neck, which is way darker...

The drama is okay, now it depends on your taste. And yes, there is a love triangle KSH-Suzy-OTY and it's very hard to tell who the girl ends up with (it's confusing until the very last episode, when you finally find out who she actually liked). IU is adorable in this drama, and I say this as someone who doesn't particularly enjoys her acting in some other projects.

I really wish I had read your review before watching the movie. Anyway, now, after watching the movie, I have to say that I agree 100% with everything you said. Too bad that you've got some downvotes and your review doesn't show up first so that everyone can see it and be warned.

Did that poster spoiled the movie only for me?! Anyway, I marked it as a spoiler because I don't want to spoil the movie for others. Immediately after reading the synopsis, I told myself that Night's identity will be a cool mystery and then I saw the poster and I was like, ok, nevermind. But I enjoyed the movie, too

I know that many people ship BSC with Cindy, but I can't no matter how hard I tried. Although I love IU and found her decent in some of her other dramas, I find her acting cringeworthy here... Bad casting for her role
