Its ok to like/support a character but biased & haters kept saying other toxic & disgusting, wanting him/her to…
My sentiment. Cinematographically , the most stunning scenes have him and linguistically speaking, the most important thematic discussions are between XY and XL.

Title Why Her?
What happened to yoon sang? He disappeared just like that?? 😵
Such a shame that he was forgotten and his status was in limbo. The drama needed to show him in the class along with his classmates.

For me Shin Sung Rok is the main lead of this drama ,, he excelled in his character ,, he played it really well…
This is precisely my sentiment about Shin Sung Rok playing Jayden. He outshone the other actors in every scene he was shown . He has an amazing voice, a splendid understanding of the character he played and nuanced acting . He did a great job in depicting Jayden's emotions and motives. Till the last minute one was hesitant whether he was a villain or a victim. Too bad that the script made him a murderer in the end. However, the drama became watchable thanks to his acting.

It was too short so it felt rushed especially since they didn’t share real scenes without a mask until episode…
I definitely agree with you. Both FL and ML have the smiliar stories in their own marriages when it comes to the cheating spouses, unhappiness and being left alone with a child to take care of. They are more in synch with one another and they have understood each other very well. FL is the epitome of safe haven with matronly clothes, strong maternal instincts and quiet demure in the face of adversity , that is why ML feels safe with her as he is tired of having femme fatales including his ex and later Yoo Hee that cross his path. Overall, I liked their top notch acting along with the symbols and mythological references of the series.

We have been trying to watch this but have dropped it twice. Really getting tired of the FL and the dumb things…
I definitely agree with your message. The villain is mesmerizing, the actor, Han Dong's portrayal is top-notch. Every movement and accentuation of the words is electrifying. As to the male lead, initially Ren Jialun is not memorable, and hard to understand. However, he grows on you in due course. He shows his acumen and acuity especially in the humor scenes very vividly e.g. his regression to the childhood days is hilarious. Overall, it is a decent drama.

the subtlety is lost in translation though, so. I do feel bad for non-chinese viewers.
Thank you for the sympathy. I do search a lot to copy and paste the lines to find out the allusions uttered by Wen Ke Xing played by Gong Jun. How lucky Chinese viewers are. I envy you ...

I am in awe to see the subliminal literariness of the script, loads of allusions to the ancient poetry and abundance of double entendres. Moreover, the acting is amazingly phonemonal. It is a great masterpiece of the wuxia genre.
