I didn't read the book, how is it different in this regard?
In the book, Toto initially refuses to spy on Lion, even when Kanit insists that he would waive Toto's debt in return, because Toto doesn't like meddling in other people's affairs. However, he eventually takes the job. After discovering Lion's infidelity, Toto decides to keep it from Kanit because he doesn't want to be the one to break such painful news to him.
There is also a scene in the book where Toto encourages Lion to confess, but Lion never does. As a result, Toto continues to keep the secret. Later, while Kanit and Toto are out together, Kanit accidentally spots Lion with Veha and is devastated. His trust is completely shattered, especially because Toto never told him about the affair despite knowing about it all along.

idk why you're getting defensive when all I said what that I appreciate toto being honest here as compared to the novel 😭 Toto not revealing it is a personal choice and I see why he did it from his perspective however, objectively speaking, when you truely care for someone AND on the top of it owe them something as a literal payback, it is not morally correct to hide the cheating.
i totally get the feeling of being disappointed with toto not revealing it rightway to Kanit (I'm with you guys on it!!) but as someone who read the book, I'm so relieved?? 😭 at least toto told him himself. the week didn't end and he realised that kanit doesn't deserves to be lied to. everyone should stop lying to poor kanit, though :(
I honestly love all the micro expressions new gives while playing Kanit, whether it is to fake-gag, roll his eyes and smile coyly or frown or just be himself. Tay on the other hand is way too good at playing the unrequited gay yearner. idk his eyes convey the ache so well.

the subs at the wedding in phang nga clearly state it was 25th of February. however once the beach brawl unfolds and Kanit bails Toto and team out of the jail, we see a time skip of 7 days where Toto is with his sister Lew. She clearly mentions that her tuition fee is due by the end of the month and Toto is fine by it because he thinks there's plenty of time remaining. however, she reveals that it's already 25th of the month today. So how's 7 days after 25th of Feb, 25th of a month again 😭

This is in no way an attempt to defend Tay, because his apology was terribly lacking. However, it should be clarified what post he actually liked. He never liked or unliked any post on Mild’s account that featured a video or message from her husband. The only post he liked was the one containing the property ledger and Mild’s statement about pursuing legal action against malicious comments directed at her or her family.
The audio recording was released after Tay and the others had already been condemned for their actions, and the apology was issued after the entire fiasco unfolded.
I totally get it if people no longer want to be supportive. It is truely very disappointing.
