Yeah, pranks and I have been talking. I'm still considering watching this one cause KYJ is one of the younger…
MPB has ended last week. You need to watch it ASAP because it's really that good haha. They brilliantly combined unexpected different elements in such creative way.
Somehow people are taking the kiss in episode one (which likely was a stylistic choice to highlight her obsessive,…
"I'm not sure how much the age difference bothers me. Like the actor and actress has a 12 year gap, it's not so uncommon."
• Some people mentioned about different stages of age before, e.g. people mostly find a pairing of 30 with 42 more tolerable than below/early 20s with mid-30s
"Also i'm so conflicted, Gong Hyo Jin is my favorite actress, and I really loved Pasta, although I know I shouldn't since the men are so misogynistic in that drama, but I can't help it, LSK voice is like soft caramel, and even though he is abusive, I couldn't get myself to hate his character."
• Most of the time, personal bias influences our judgement. We can like whatever/whoever we want, but don't forget to admit if it has flaws (like what you did). It would've been better if everyone doing this rather than defending fictional dramas/characters with all their might.

Hmm, tbh for me it's a no and I think it's better for you to finish whatever drama you've already planned to watch haha... but perhaps, if you have time, try to watch 1-2 eps and judge by yourself. You'll see where are these mess come from :)

He forgot to include that the man was under the influence of alcohol. To be fair, yes you need to see the episodes. This drama included some huge, sensitive issues (in real world) for some people. Problem arose when the others seemed to take those issues lightly and justified "problematic" fictional characters acts if it happened in REAL life. That's why, it's far beyond fantasy TKEM lol
I just realized something.1 day in Kingdom of Corea is equal to roughly 3-5 days in Republic of Korea. Which is…
"1 day in Kingdom of Corea is equal to roughly 3-5 days in Republic of Korea."
There's no such thing as time difference between two parallel worlds. LG only mentioned time in limbo much slower than in real world (i.e. little amount of time in limbo equals to longer time in real world). So, everytime LG crossed limbo, it took time. Some people already discussed it in earlier episodes. Feel free to scroll down the comments lol
People should have realized that criticizing the fictional characters is not the same with criticizing the actors. And when some people start to accuse and make assumptions of other users, they deal with REAL human, so be mindful of your choice of words. Just my two cents...
As a fan of the original one, I'm bitterly disappointed with this remake.
• There's no distinct characteristic of each character, even main leads portrayal are lack of depth :( • What happened with the camera? It's shaking, zooming in and out rather randomly and sometimes shooting from odd angles. It's uncomfortable to watch. • They changed the musics into the lousy ones. There's practically no spark during music performances, which is odd because music should become a highlight in this drama. • I have to say that there was lack of effort from the casts to learn how to play music instrument properly. Shouldn't they at least have to act like the ones who mastered it? • Comedic parts were mostly removed, but there's no adequate plot to cover that. Neither serious nor comedic, it is unfortunate that this drama just becomes a plain lite drama.
I don't see where in this drama there is sexual harassment or physical abuse or cheating so far.
I want to clarify some points:
1. My reply wasn't intended to your country's law, but your statement:
"As for me, I consider there is no harassment when there is no hostile intention."
I was only afraid of misinterpretation of "harassment" word. People here come from all around the world, and their primary language may not be English.
2. I didn't claim that definition in dictionary as law.
3. "In my country, the Law defines that the intention must be proven but says it is proven when the perpretator is aware of is action. He does not need to know the extent of the consequences on the victim."
When it comes to your country's law, you know best. But I guess there is more explanation about that. For example, in US, one must possess a guilty state of mind and be aware of his or her misconduct; however, a defendant need not know that their conduct is illegal to be guilty of a crime. Rather, the defendant must be conscious of the “facts that make his conduct fit the definition of the offense.”

According to the Cambridge dictionary, harasment is behaviour that annoys or upsets someone (https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/harassment). In this case, no hostile intention doesn't validate someone's behaviour, but how the one who receives that act feels about it.
Although I am not one of those who think this show has many flaws, I will attempt to answer for those who do and…
Okay, this is my last reply to you regarding this topic. If you insist that English articles drove away local viewers and made ratings dropped, that's your choice. Anyway the drama has ended, so suit yourself.
Those three things you mentioned are ONLY your assumptions. No matter how hard you defend your arguments, if it's ONLY (again) based on your guess/assumptions (which sometimes, I have to say, involve some "extra" imagination), people won't believe it.

Alright, so we can agree that your statement before,
"The ratings before that were 5.8, 6.3, 6.4. So 7.8 was already on the way up. But after koreaherald republished the controversies, the rating went down to 5.2",
is INVALID, right? The ratings went down NOT because of English articles re-published the controversy.
Koreajoongangdaily (and other English media you mentioned) merely informed us that in SK, the controversy drove away the audience. There's no prove that SK media ganged up to drive away local viewers by re-publishing the controversy.
I hope it's clear for you now and we can move to other topic (if any).

These articles were released in English. If I were a Korean, I would have read Korean articles instead, e.g. in Naver, not an English one. That's why I said English articles didn't give much impact (if any) to local ratings.
If only you could find any Korean article (i.e. in Korean language) released by credible sources that mentioned controversy, even after apologies, your argument would become stronger...
I'm aware you're not proficient in Korean language, but you can't make this as an excuse (i.e. it's a dead end for you to find Korean article) and directly jump to conclusion based on English articles alone.

p.s. it's not only about the kiss
