I took my time after watching this show and I really gave it a thought before coming out to comment about this.…
I agree with this,, and you could say I'm a LJS fan. I've watched 3 of his other dramas and that's enough for me to be able to say that I know he can act, anyone who's watched I Hear Your Voice or Pinocchio knows that he has the skills to be a pretty good actor. Here, however, I was honestly cringing every time he was on screen... It felt like he was using his good looks instead of properly acting. The lip-bites and winks were very attractive and all but a little excessive and often misplaced.. I can't say much more about this drama because I dropped it after episode 5, can't say I'm a fan. I'm really disappointed because this drama has a lot of hype (and a lot of hardcore fans) but I really couldn't bring myself to continue, especially having read reviews that it gets worse along the line...
Currently watching Chicago Typewriter and I'm honestly really enjoying it. 2017 was a fairly disappointing year in terms of Korean dramas but this one is just amazing, the set is incredible and the cast is great. I think the characters make smart choices and I rarely get that annoying feeling of "Seriously?!?!?" when a character does something stupid or hasn't realised something. Bonus: Yoo Ah In during 30s vibe is the best thing that has ever happened to me, whenever he comes on screen I need to pause to breathe (literally). I'm not sure why this got such low ratings while it was airing but I really hope it gets more recognition!! Compared to the rest of the 2017 dramas, this one's a masterpiece.
is there any romance at all?? I'm perfectly fine watching something with no romance and I definitely want to watch this I just want to know in advance (just a simple yes or no cos I hate spoilers haha) thank you x
okay random opinion but I think that making the bad guy completely bad until the very end aka pulling down Soo Ha with him when he commits suicide in the last episode was just a bad choice... Since it's only at the end that we finally piece together his motives we should be feeling conflicted, not so much to be able to forgive him but to at least see that he has a complex, layered personality, I guess what I mean to say is that it's a little hard to buy that he would think of killing Park Soo Ha during his last moments when he was thinking of his wife. I would have appreciated his character a lot more if just that thing could have changed. All in all though a great drama, I have a thing for trial scenes and that need was wholly satisfied.
I was really disappointed by this drama, I was hyped up bc I love all of the actors and actresses in it but I guess I was waiting for the moment where the show would finally get to me, make me want to watch the next episode, but it didn't come for 7 episodes. Then I read somewhere that the first 8 episodes were great then it got boring. So I dropped it.
