I always feel pure joy when I watch BTS shows! Watching good people just have fun and exist happily together is something that shouldn't be a rarity, but is.
I recommend you check out more of BTS shows and shows they have been on. They didn't have many early guest appearances because the hosts were jerks to them back then. They started their own variety show, Run! BTS, to avoid the industry system of promoting albums on other people's shows, and filmed almost 160 episodes over the years. Just as the show taught them skills and was a safe place for them to fight and resolve conflicts, their travel series, Bon Voyage seasons 1-4, set them loose on the world teaching them to be resourceful and independent. Are You Sure? is the most recent travel show with just a couple members. Then there is In the SOOP seasons 1, 2, and Friendcation with V and his best friends from acting in the Drama Hwarang. V also guested on Jinnie's Kitchen, which was star-studded, and, right before he enlisted, Jin filmed Jin's Traditional Alcohol Journey with Chef Paik (his phone-a-friend in episode 2 of Kian's) where he learns to brew makgeolli and make soju. If you like food shows, don't miss those last two - but honestly, half of all BTS shows are them cooking or planning what to eat next. The day after Jin returned from military, he started filming Run Jin by himself - a variety show that mostly just shows how inventive he can get cheating at any game lol. If anyone watching Run Jin hadn't seen him anywhere else, they could mistake him for a spoiled brat who always has to win...when really, he's a cute, sweet, considerate brat who always has to win. LOL just kidding. Hope they bring more happiness your way! :-)
PS - I just looked at your list and realize you've seen some of these, but hopefully I mentioned something you don't know of!
Don't forget the director's role in bad decision making! I have seen so many dramas ruined by overbearing directors misinterpreting or just bowling over the intent of writers. And then there's the dramas that bend to the audience and stray away from or even contradict original things as the show is aired, trying to please everyone to make a hit. When they get it right, it's magical - because it's so rarely the case that we don't have to do any rewriting in our heads after the finale! LOL
Why do I keep seeing Lee Jong Suk in him? They could pass as brothers!! ❤
I see it, too! If Lee Jong Suk's plastic surgeon had restrained himself and only narrowed half as much of his nose, they would be even closer! So kyupta!
(No one is going to argue that there was plastic surgery involved, right? It's just a fact of Korean life. It's all about aesthetics and i happen to think somewhere between LJS's before and after would have been better in the long term. I also think Park Seo Jun's noise works perfectly with his broad chin. That's just me! - smaller/thinner on a male face always reminds me of Michael Jackson! =-O ... Not good association with these adorable guys!!)
Re: Mr Go "Set in the golf world" - are you sure you don't mean baseball? I see no golf in the trailer.
These all look so unique and quirky! I wish I knew if your definition of heartwarming means to cry your eyes out somewhere while watching! These seem to have that potential and i really don't feel like crying at the moment. :-)
Thanks for making the list!
This thing is so hard to track down! Totally black market feeling. Parts are missing or labeled with crazy number system, subbers stop half way or maybe their vids get taken down. ??? Absolutely no criticism meant to the awesome volunteer subbers, I just think things are complicated because of the censorship and import issues. Try Kerrie Huang aka Kerrie Whitee on YouTube (I think she split the parts between her two channels) or Yamitsu Suju's uploads on dailymotion. Both are under "Like Love". Also! There is a translation of part of the novel at justblthings.tumbler.com. Search on pg for like love and the post comes up with links to the chapters. I thought it was really good! The movie follows it closely.
Sorry for long post, but I went through a lot of late night effort to get this info so I thought I'd share it. ;-)
Unfortunately this has no new content. It's just clips from the first 15 episodes. I was hoping for more of his backstory (like, how did he get away from the cliffside and the soldiers?) and little things that didn't make it in the show. :-(
I really wanted to write because I wanted to become a writer. But I don't have confidents on my grammars. I don't…
You just need practice and a dictionary! Good luck with your writing. :-)
Here's how a native English speaker might write what you did with a few little corrections:
I really want to write because I want to become a writer. I don't have confidence in my grammar, though. I don't know how to check grammar and fix mistakes. I think everything I write makes sense to me, but not to other people.
