Well, this review was borderline better than the show biss
I’m laughing my ass off for the past like 20 minutes and it’s 2am atm
Also this like brought up so many flaws that would normally go unnoticed by me and most people I believe and it was also so detailed I love it

I do have to talk about some stuff tho
First and foremost the freaking song. Jes sang the song himself. So not only did they decide to just do THAT they did it starting from the moment they started showing us the couple freaking diving / connecting as well?? mothafakas and to top it all off it HAD to be in Jes’ voice.

Second matter to address yes they should be paying lots of child support I’m quite sure you CAN get pregnant by THAT..
About the loopholes from what I’m getting, 1. tonkla was severely traumatized from childhood until adulthood, that shit burns bad so I believe he didn’t really have connection to his emotions but they were there. The emotions just acted up when dome died and when win and korn were about to, cause sometimes you break even if you’re broken to nothingness. So more or less deeply depressed dude (the raw thing I believe was also because of that shit). Yeah what I mean is to me the character that made the most sense, was Tonkla. 2. and 3. it wasn’t witchcraft I believe it was the subject of Den’s research ( and that how he knew to shout) and the conclusion was more or less that in those 4 minutes you just relive and fix regrets and shit but it’s like just a dream so not real. The lady at the end I honestly don’t know what, maybe she was a witch and had foreseen this whole sh we’ll never know. 4. that lady tried to commit suicide so they just let it as a grey area cause we know he’s no saint but true wtf? (the witch shi is forgotten by all, I think by that point they still hadn’t decided what was gonna happen) 5. second. 6. yep. 7. true dat
About the limited time whole thing, I disagree they had no reason to give so much time on that closing arc thing, that entire 10 minuteish part could have been better distributed maybe idk (although I do get it’s a Thai series thing to have like a grand ending so they did their best to minimize it).
But anyone know what’s up with Korn tho? like he didn’t off himself when he was meddling with illegal business, embezzlement, killing people and having his brother mixed in this charade BUUUUT my wittle boyfred killed himself trying to save and/or stop me NOOOOOO wth?

Yes, however from what I'm getting these first 8 eps are kinda like worldsetting. In the webtoon these are not included at all even though suho is "mentioned" and we just know of a gray thats devilishly smart, ruthless, expressionless, closed off. More or less kinda like how he appears here but in the webtoon he seems to be unable to handle bullies in most forms around him even if not directed at him. That's probably leftover from him adopting his friend's attitude about not crossing lines (which by the way is more or less what made him end up in that situation, his opponents crossed lines).
So yeah, what i meant to say is, it seems to have great potential in not straying too much out of the original story, since the characters seem to match to a t.

I am really sorry to tell you but as far as I've read in the webtoon suho is not waking up anytime soon. However we can't know how the series will go since what's been shown at the moment doesn't exist in the webtoon in any form other than incinuations, so we can't know if it will be loyal to the original storyline.

It was shot afterwards for sure. And you can even tell that some scenes were shot closely after and some a lot later from the progression of the hair (mostly Win's)

To begin, I'm sorry that I somehow managed to give off an accusatory tone towards peachymomo for the way I assumed they treat their inner child, it is none of my business and I should neither have made assumptions nor express them.

I get where all this is coming from but I'll be 21 in a month and I also tend to act like that a lot around my friends, family or partner. If anything the character of amagi is well placed and completely justifiable even solely by the neglect he had to endure when he was an actual child. I realise it is not the norm or anything and I myself dont really care what people I don't know think of me anymore, but there are many people in the real world who have suppressed or still suppress their inner child in fear of the public eye, so your comment hurts a little. Not because it hurts me in actuality but because it spreads negativity and without wanting to offend you ,cause you may very well be just so different than me, my guess is you yourself have internalised all that you said and are currently suppressing your own inner child.

you say you didnt refer to the part i did about how it more or less treats kaori as a sick person, in your review and use that as an argument to tell me it's a good show nonetheless since it brings other important issues to light.
I say that was my issue. You wrote a review solely about the good aspects of an otherwise borderline trash show.
I live in a reality where I might just get attacked in the streets cause I look gay or I dress differently and it's dark enough at that moment, and that's just it.
You can argue I could change the way I look, but why should I have to?? This is me and I shouldn't have to hide some of me to make others more comfortable when it obviously is making me a lot more uncomfortable.
So, when a show that's supposed to represent a part of me in the general community, treats me like a mentally ill person, even insinuating it'll go away with time or medication, I will speak my mind. It probably did a good job portaying the trauma parts and stuff, I can't say that's my expertise or anything, I can't even deal with my own and it's a lot milder than what I remember of kaori's ig. I do know trauma shapes us in many different domains.
From the get go, my opposition on this drama is not about its overall quality or the matters it did perhaps do justice on. I stood my ground regarding how disguistngly unjust it treats queerness even as a queer show and I still am confused as to how people cannot see that .

Also Check out is because in episode 0 they were in that resort and they met at check in and stuff and then when at check out they were like, humu we'll keep in touch and stuff. So the focus point was what happens after check out.

Don't know if you are part of the lgbtq+ community but because I am part of it (cis pan woman) the biggest fact/ thing/ whatever that pissed me off incomparably was the repetition of describing kairi's sexuality as messed up because of her trauma
I'm no psychologist so I'm not gonna say trauma doesn't work that way (even though it realy doesn't and you can do your own research) but I am really gay so being gay doesn't work that way
You don't become gay because of any random happening (no matter how much the impact) and no fairy comes by and steals your pronouns either, what happens is at some point in your life either when you're 2 or 200 you realise you are queer
The fact that you didn't know yourself well enough to know you're queer doesn't mean you weren't queer before... what you were, was trying to live how you were taught and it's completely ok. But dont try to tell me who always thought girls were cute at age 4, was told not to think that way, supressed everything till 20 to suddenly come to the realisation I'm pan af, that it's because of my trauma. Thank you.
Overall what I'm trying to say is this drama is not bad because of the acting, it's bad cause it gives wrong messages using the gl tag causing the community to once again be misunderstood
So it deserves the bad ratings despite giving "good" messages too. We are not blind we just don't compromise anymore when it comes to people being ignorant (I'm refering to the production team of the drama not you necessarily)

Ok so,
I was the one who submitted the revised synopsis and obviously the site admins fixed it up a bit and now it looks the way it does (as you noticed I said in my appreciation "post"
So
First of all, the old synopsis was transphobic, I do agree and just to verify, the quotes on strawberry's comment were direct quotes and it wasn't a matter of context either. It was bad
Second of all I believe @FrothyMix has something mixed up, a trans person wants to be referred and perceived as their gender identity no matter how they look like the same way a cis person wouldn't want to be missgendered. The fact that a trans woman (in our case) for her own reasons can't present as a woman doesn't mean we should suddenly refer to her as a man (but that's in fact my personal opinion and I don't know if it applies in real life since we can't out people as we want). I believe the best would be, as in most situations, to ask the actual person how they'd like we refer to them as and go from there. In our case it's safe to say we can't do that, so in my eyes, it was best to avoid pronouns or use she/her as I did in my description, synopsis whatever.... then the site decided on no pronouns as the go to and the new synopsis came to
Lastly, the title thing, I didn't ask for the title to be revised for trans reasons only. Man on high heels is not just transphobic it is also completely unnecessary since the original title 하이힐 is actually ha-ee-heel so high heel
I think that's all but I probably left stuff I wanted to say out so I'm gonna revise and come back

I love how I just realised the reasons I also dropped all of those dramas except the last one that I didn't even start (not the good one, the c drama)
My sister was on the hype bawon for most of these and was nagging me crazy😂

At first I was like... isn't this "résumé" revealing too much? But then i realised I didn't remember shit because of all those names and well adhd

For me it's probably for 3 reasons
1. It shows lgbtq+ struggles in these and thus it's relatable
2. The industry hasn't gotten too much in contact with the genre so it's  usually either simply purer or more of an eye opener perhaps 
3. Lastly why do "men" like lesbian couples... (a bit less sexualized, at least for me)
But those are just my reasons so many others obviously have different opinions
P.S. the quotation marks on men is cause it's not just men it's the people interested in women sexually I guess(?)

I too noticed the issues in the title and description and even tho I simply saw the movie after that, when I saw your comment I sent a revised description and title to the site explaining in the notes part that the particular movie has gone throught great trouble in order to show the difficulties trans people go throught for the most seamingly insignificant of reasons and since they are in fact a site that is immencely lgbtq+ friendly it would be really nice if it were corrected and now 2 days later it is fixed (I don't know if it's fixed in its entirety but I and the site did our best I believe)
So basically this is an apreciation post for the site admins who love and support us as much as we them
