But he hadn't played such a big and typical role previously. If I must say, this drama is going to bring him more big projects in future. He exceeded himself in this drama. As more episodes pass by I realise that no one can beat Zhai Xiaowen in comedic roles. His comedic acting is so on point and actually funny. He delivers those comedic lines so well. Like the "sweet potato root is not sweet potato root. Are you even listening to yourself Huan er? Sweet potato root is not the sweet potato root huhhh." or " It's pretty cool, MAGIC!! (while being naughty in chemistry class)" and there's more of such iconic line deliveries. The way he brings so much comedy into those lines is insane. I can't imagine Jing Xichi played by anyone now. He's perfect. Not only comedic lines, even emotional or realisation scenes are done well by him. The way he delivers his expressions when he realises who likes whom. Although he's wrong most of the times lol
I think the next one that's soon gonna be released will either be The best thing or Northward. Both are rumoured to be released on 25th Feb so I think one of them is definitely gonna be released soon first and then the another one will follow after it ends. It's highly possible that the release will be on 25th, bcuz maybe that's the reason city of romance/ man cheng got released in full all at once. And we were all shocked why it released all episodes. no, its gonna turn into love triangle soon. But these episodes with Qiqi is what troubling the viewers the most. So the Qiqi episodes might take a while to go away. As for love rectangle, it's gonna solve soon
