for me, my first dramas of her were the very old ones like-my amazing boyfriend 2 and I've fallen for you. And I absolutely used to detest her acting and her voice both. I still gave her chances after that because the storylines seemed interesting but it was only after moonlight that my stance towards her changed a lot. And moonlight also revealed the fact that she's continuously growing and improving with every project. Although her voice may still bother lots of people, I believe that her acting has become quite good now. Even if it's a bit exaggerated, but you can find yourself relating to her actions.

Well since you like this version of esther you can watch Moonlight and my journey to you. Moonlight was also the first drama that made me finally like Esther so yeah it's a really worthy watch. Also, her future drama- Yunchu's vengeance seemingly gonna have a strong style too rather than her cutesy voice so you can look out for it too!

Whenever the name FULAXIDA comes up though, I remember yifei's dad's dialogue in earliest episodes "whatever your company's name is....something like FULAXI" because it sounds similar to the word "trash" in chinese which sounds something like LACHI/LAXI. So they made a pun on it making his company sound like TRASH.... which is why yifei quickly corrected him by saying "what LAXI?! , It's FULAXIDA "
Shiyu's character served to be absolute delight till the end...what a sensible lady! And yet a true businessman I love how she didn't supported her dad's faults and chose her own path but not to fight her dad but to make him realise that he can chose a right path too to complete his goals.
I have nothing more to say about ML's dad because that man's charisma speaks for itself. He was mostly chilling on sofas throughout the show yet managed to look so cool.
TJC made me laugh out loud so many times like I genuinely think I could fall for a guy like that irl.....he always made qian fei laugh in such a fun way, and his dialogue delivery was unbeatable, bro played a cool and quirky without making it feel weird to the viewers. The amount of talent this guy has in acting needs to be studied. I wish he gets more and more opportunities in future bcuz time and again we have seen him playing different characters wonderfully with so much flexibility and skills. WCR's character's learning drive and love towards her work and to get better in life is so motivating! Every woman should follow the idea and make themselves better instead of ever crying over a man.

Just a spoiler: they'll go back and forth with the character development. Like sometimes you would feel that they had changed but after a few eps. They'll make the same mistakes in that qualitative characteristics criteria
I was pissed off in disbelief on how stubborn she was. Not even taking time thinking properly and admitting that she likes him but putting all the expectations on yifei for their romance to move forward
I'm on episode 14 and struggling to like the ML. He literally clogged the toilet and left it and she had to unblock…

Overdoing everything else like FL losing job after every 10eps, the side couple's not so captivating story taking half of the time of the entire screentime, leads contemplating their love for each other till the last 3 eps remaining, dilly-dallying over everything from ep 28- 36- Worst0️⃣
I have watched it almost completely until now without skipping any scene like other people (despite there being lots of questionable scenes especially including the stalker couple's story and Mr. Wang Ruohai) speaks the fact that I really genuinely enjoyed watching this show, when I'm the first person to give up on shows bcuz of my lack of patience for mediocre stuff. Even I'm surprised why and how I liked this show this much. But that is until ep 28, after that it was pure struggle to continue watching lots of filler scenes and terrible editing cuts.
The leads did amazing in terms of acting and chemistry that I feel so sad for all the wasted potential. It could literally go really big without the flaws it holds. But so many flaws are inevitable to be eliminated. The amount of flaws this drama has are uncountable and so it stays both enjoyable and annoying at the same time.
