idk why people are criticising this drama so much....it was pretty decent actually. it was quite enjoyable all this while. And as for the ending, i think i've seen many other dramas, using the concept of having wrong criminal due to them protecting each other. And so the ending was quite decent and at least better than most of the dramas they are releasing these days.
I personally feel that the leads doesn't suit the image of the manhwa characters at all. They both are such amazing actors so i hope they overshadow that fact through their acting skills
I just read the novel , Soooo he's a delinquent guy and he smoke , I hope they lessen the Smoking scene or Dont…
i don't think they are gonna have smoking thing in the drama though. hidden love's Duan Jiaxu was a smoker too but in the drama, they didn't portrayed him like that at all. In the drama Duan Jiaxu neither smoked not drank.

No i cannot imagine anyone else taking the ML role except Victor Ma. He is such an amazing actor and charming person. He gave justice to Sang Yan's role! I totally wanna see him as the ML
This is such a happy feel good drama that gave me the same vibes as Hometown Cha Cha Cha. Itβs just a bit more…
Hope so! He did really well as an actor in this project. I hope he continues to put the same hard work in future as well and choose his script wisely just like hidden love
But the regret thing about this drama is the short episodes (personally) and camera angles. Sometimes the bts…
maybe its about perspective a bit too....cuz i personally quite liked the angles. They felt a bit natural or maybe the way i wanted them to be. except for the video call one in last few episodes.
Although no one is talking about this....but I personally feel that Chen Zhe Yuan is growing so much as an actor with every new project. His acting skills in Hidden Love should be praised well. I hope he's aware of this fact and do not take those words of people on heart who say that he only has a handsome face.
He amazingly expressed all those varied sort of expressions in this project. Some situations were really hard like, saying goodbye to his father in the hospital, showing sincerity while talking with Sang Zhi's parents about their future, and the confession scene. He did an amazing job literally.
I just hope he tries other different types of roles in future too just like this one (mature old guy) to find out more suitable roles. I also wish to see him in a mystery thriller too at least once in future. Also, I wish him to always remain to be the same silly and pure guy as he is now.
What was the original story if you don't mind me asking???
no it's correct...i'm talking about the very same thing. the reason i wanted it to be that way so much was bcuz sang zhi realised that jiaxu likes her a lot and is not doing it on a whim through that scene. It was after hearing the story from Jiang Ying that she realised that jiaxu had never had a moment of happiness before and the things he's doing for her, to pursue her is like already the max. and that doing that for her is like the most sincere way for him to say that he likes her genuinely. But the way the drama made them get into a relationship gives more of the vibe that sang zhi couldn't wait anymore and so she said 'yes' rather than her realising his genuine feelings.
my only regret is that they didn't followed the original story for her saying "yes" to him for being his girlfriend. tbh it would've been more meaningful that way and would've utilised that crazy girl Jiang Ying's character well
my cheeks hurt from smiling the whole episode 15 π€£π The last scene with her friends was sooo real, it made…
I love how they didn't showed any disputes among roommates over that boy who is pursuing sang zhi. The other girl didn't created any ruckus over it. and they all are so supportive. It's good to have plots like this rather than having them fight with each other over a boy.
I'm gonna get diabetes soon....this is just so sweet!! I blush so hard for those 40 mins >< how will I live for those 3 days when we won't get any episode TT
EP15 gets even hotter between DJX and SZ, makes my heart smile the whole time. DJX so considerate of SZ trying…
i have like most of the OSTs on my shower playlist. my mind is filled with them day and night. Mostly single episodes this week and then 3 days of gap until 17-18 ep....is making me crazy. how will i even live without them. I wish this could be longer like of 35 eps.
wedding is ep 13 - preview is out and bracelet scenethere is heart on 16-17 tag, so i guess that's the episode…
it actually made through the way into the drama. I heard a part of it "open your mouth" in one of the trailer. (i hope when the ep officially comes out, they don't change the translations into something else just like how they did with "male vinxen" in today's ep)
Please run around the room screaming now though! Keep your promise kkkkkkkkkk
I really hope this drama makes him a big traffic star this year. He deserves it!
he's indeed doing really well....especially after seeing every new episode each day, i'm convinced that he has amazing acting skills. Today's episodes were all well presented by him. The moment when he was almost teary in the car while zhi zhi was lying drunk. it showed how hurt he felt towards himself for not having someone who shows him so much love and care and also how concerned he was about her but also helpless at the same time. Then, the way he kept calling sang yan "gege". i'm so satisfied that he did justice to that scene. It was amazingly portrayed. At that moment, i literally felt that the manhua came to life
