I understand that TVB is tryna engage older and newer fans by making similar style dramas that did well but I really wish they go for a more experimental route or put a spin on things, still enjoyable, veteran TVB actors never disappoint in the acting department usually it's just a budget and script issue

good for those who enjoyed a fist within four walls, it's not as good but for nostalgia sake i am enjoying it so much dubbed in viet, love Phillip Ng too bad he is typecasted he's great though want to see him as a male lead in a cop drama or something, Elaine looks gorgeous in the Thai attire

omg cannot stop watching so addictive, some parts are a bit illogical but overall great story, i especially love the bodyguard and rich girl romance too cute!

wow truly compared to modern dramas they don't even come close not even half as good and well written. SO intense from just the first 2 eps, and it never gets draggy or uninteresting. Really love this one wish it was 1 or 2 eps longer though

omg THIS IS SO GOOD the complex storyline? phenomenal cast and acting and THE CHARISMATIC leads truly peak TVB drama right here, just rewatched it and found myself shedding tears and really falling for the family and characters. Sharen and Wayne's chemistry and deep bond/loyalty here is WOW

thank goodness the writing isn't too cliche so into it san niang is such a good character too, good writing, idk how I feel about Yin Zhang I feel like she might turn on the FL later on idk off vibes about her

it's stupidly addictive after a while haha ML is slow but kinda endearing to watch since the world is filled with complex and manipulative ppl, enjoy seeing tha various fighting moves he learns and the wacky martial arts characters/his teachers

THE BGM gets me everytime I FINALLY did it, and binged it all in one day, it was phenomenal was saving this one cause I KNEW it would give me a drama slump if i compare it to current dramas, a perfect production, in only 13 eps? to think i started off thinking with the first 2 eps this is lowkey slow but that's the beauty ain't it? The normal and realistic characters making you be so emotionally involved then SO MUCH happens, so complex, so many different genres and emotions. Alice Ke and Greg Hsu's chemistry/acting? IRREPLACEABLE!

didn't start yet but this gives me callback to the early 2000 jdrama era and manga were full of wholesome delinquent slice of life school dramas, excited to watch but maybe will wait to binge it all in one go

season 2 is airing in a couple days now i need to rewatch this haha

FINALLY what a brilliant cast, now I hope the Love Hypnosis drops to and I'll be over the moon May- Summer rumored airing drama line up is lit. Immortal Samsara, The Longest Promise are set to drop in June-July too cdrama fans will be busy

Ro A is from My Amazing Bf chinese drama knew I've seen him before first 3 eps are ok, no real plot, acting and chemistry isn't superb either but it's so short so I watch an ep a day kinda unforgettable but not the worst way to pass time

this is the most fun currently airing binged all 6 eps in one sitting can't wait for the next eps to drop

watching it on youtube viet dubbed and was surprised how fun it is only seen 2 eps though, i would say this is literally the illuminati lizardmen alien shapeshifting theories i've seen around youtube like 6-7 years ago, so in that sense it may be a bit late, but goofy drama kinda enjoyable if you grew up with TVB or like Joe

how did the child actor do all that and not get traumatized these kids are NEXT LEVEL that's some INTENSE and dark stuff!

the female police officer really doing the opposite of whatever she's advised to not do annoys me to no end and diminishes my viewing enjoyment but yeah this is a super binge-worthy show surprised its not on netflix
