Why does Vin and Dilraba dramas never have happy endings together like stop playing with us putting them in like 3 of the same dramas without getting together T_T

I just finished this drama and the end was bittersweet and so real
but when they had the clip of the entire Hu Family smiling I cried so hard T_T Captain Xue was the best character but died first

I just started a couple eps in and dang IT'S SO GOOD, I've been avoiding it for too long since I'm not into tragedies and war dramas but you can't help but fall in love with the characters like the sister and brother duo, the whole family dynamic starts off so light and even hilarious, you see these characters grow and go through so much it's actually phenomenal

It started off so good but then I got so confused halfway and the relationships everything was a mess but still the acting was really good and I wish they just kept it simple with the plot from the start and I had major SLS for Lan Zhi the good thing is she is in a new drama with him next year, so i'll just wait and watch that

I knew it was going to be good with the Ariel as female lead she never disappoints been a while since King of Lan Ling love her role here too, It's one of those dramas where you get too excited to wait for subs so you watch it all and will rewatch later when eng subs are out

Are they really the same leads or just a cameo?
This might be a spinoff with the children's story all I want is The Demon Princess and Mu Ci to have a happy ending T_T

I cried hardest when Mu Ci died like how can they do that to my fav couple they were so precious like I picked this drama up again today binged 15 eps and got to that part and T_T

I think this is just what I needed after Ashes of Love gives off a similar vibe especially since she plays a similar character to Jin Mi

I had such high expectations because of the main leads but 70 eps and like I get it historical drama love their pacing and build up but...with this one it's one of those dramas where I will wait til half or all the eps come out and skim to just parts with the main leads together. Hope the next drama she stars in will be good though been a Zhao Li Ying fan for a while

I watched the one with Huang Xiaoming and the one with Ariel Lin as a kid a long time ago
This story has a special place, there's been so many remakes though and I want to watch one, but there's so many versions idk where to start.

Would you say this is the best adaptation? Or should I just wait til the new adaptation comes out and watch that?

Hmmm gave me Goblin vibes the first episode pretty cute but I'm going to wait for more eps to come out to binge it

Also Me: Binge watching the guest with my blankets for an entire day because its so good even though I got chills in the first 5 mins lol

It's one of those shows that are so worth it, really well made and hard to come by. Being more invested in the stories and characters makes it more creepy and unsettling. It has one of the best first episodes I've seen in a while. Be warned though it can get batshit crazy and gruesome

I'm so sad they stopped subbing after ep 15 it is so good *cries*
