not watching it beforehand will definitely make it harder to understand the context of the story, plus it happens after a scene from no gain no love so they're connected. since there are only 2 episodes you won't get to see how their relationship unfolds in no gain no love and missing out the full extent of their chemistry would be a pity

idk but I feel like this spinoff's plot is basically "how would jayeon react if the story she wrote suddenly came to life" so unless it ends with her going back to real life I think he might be the ml from her novel the whole time...but I'm trying not to theorize about the plot because I want to be surprised and just enjoy whatever they decided to give us 🤧

it would be great if you watched no gain no love as you would understand their backstory and dynamics, their screen time is also great instead of being just some crumbs as it usually is for second leads! also there are only 12 episodes and the plot is very fast paced so you won't even notice time flying....trust me i wasn't excited for this at all but ended up loving it 🥹

yeah! there are two versions, the one on tvn and the tving ver....one of the things that have been censored is the box that belongs to haeyong, the tving version shows what's inside while the one broadcasted on tvn doesn't show it at all, plus there are some sexual stuff/innuendos that they've changed. someone said that prime video's version is a mix of both the tvn and tving versions
