(but as you can see, the Hemp outfit is what made it a mourning outfit, so it's different from normal white outfits.

Since I do have the Light Novel you mentioned on my tbr, your comment made me go do some research. 😅This specific drama is not based, and is not an adaptation of "The Rebirth of the Malicious Empress of Military Lineage". Rather it's and adaption of another novel "Liang Zhi Qian Fu Yi Tai Xi" (两只前夫一台戏) or Two Ex-husbands on a stage by Dian Xian. It's the same author as the novel "Heavy Sweetness, Ash like Frost", which the drama Ashes of Love is based on.
The same names are probably are coincidence? 👀
