I have watched it when it came out and a few more times after then. From time to time I come back to it and again cry my eyes out. Crying again now as I just finished watching it again. I wish they would just make a movie or something to continue the modern days story and ease our hearts a bit. :( How about we petition for it? Would they listen..... feeling hopeful....
Of course it is worth watching! It's one of the best dramas, really! You will just have a big opinion at the end on how it was supposed to go. But yeah, you'll enjoy the ride. I promise! Hahaha

I wish ;)! No, she won't end up with InHo in the webtoon either, 99% sure. But when the controversy came out people were saying that the reason why the drama viewers were shipping InHo was because his character was given more time, and Jung disappeared without going more in depth into his character, like the webtoon does. But I honestly don't like Jung in the webtoon either, even if there are more flashback and sweet moments and he is definetly more likeable, it just makes him look more like a psyco. hahaha. Also the author had asked the production to come up with a different ending to not spoil her webtoon, but production didn't consult her and apparently the ending they went for is very similar to what she had planned.
You can easily read the webtoon on the "webtoon" website but they are far behind with the episodes, or "Overtooning" which is up to date, but it is a system you should Google because it needs instructions to use it.

To be honest I didn't mind the ending at all. This drama was amazing at the start and then something changed, but not in the 6th episode like all the diehard fans are complaing about, but in the 13th. This drama had a direction, a plan, but with all the controversy i think the Director was forced to completely change what she was going to do. I think the webtoon author was wrong on two accounts, first she shouldn't have given them permission to produce the drama before she finished the webtoon; second she shouldn't complain about not being contacted because if she wanted she could have just picked up the phone and requested a review. I work in TV and this is what the artists always do, they bother us every step of the way if you are using their songs, their photos, their scripts.... Telling them the ending needed to be different, what does that mean? Where do you draw the line? When all the die hard fans were already complaining that it wasn't exactly the same as the webtoon. And by the way i read (reading, as it is not finished yet) the webtoon as well, and am a fan of it too. But to be honest I am all for InHo in both the webtoon and drama. I love Jung's character, but to me he wasn't the guy that needed the happy ending here, he was more the villain that should have changed at the end, understand his mistakes and learn from them. Not get the girl. InHo was perfect from start to finish. I don't really understand why he was always punished so much when honestly I don't see anything he did wrong... Maybe just been part of a gang for a short part of his life? But he Took responsability for everything! And both twins were orphans and young, can they really be blamed for acting as if they were the chairman's spies? Or because they wanted to be part of the family? The Chairman brought them in, and what you blame a kid for having finally found a bit of happiness? Shame on Jung and his father, i think they are the ones that should have been locked in a mental institution... Both!... Sorry for the rant.. I needed it out of my chest! But also i would like to point out that i have watch a loooooooot of drama and movies, and this was the only drama where i NEVER skipped anything! That's gotta count for something :)
