Where's everyone watching this show?
If you can understand Chinese without subtitles, I would recommend using youtube as they have released the most recent episodes, but otherwise dramafever and viki are usually pretty fast on subtitling.

Title The King's Woman Spoiler
So for those who are not able to watch yet but just want to know what has happened so far: The first 6 episodes…
I totally agree. He even met and seemed to like Jing Ke. When watching the 6th episode I just thought that the change in the king was way too sudden. He was somewhat nice at the beginning but then we are shown his unstable possessive side and it all went downhill...

Anyone want to share initial thoughts? I watched the trailers and Ying Zheng seems like a bit of an unstable asshole...
Watched the first 6 episodes and couldn't agree more. He is unstable, manipulative, narcissistic and an asshole. (Also thought your username was familiar and turns out read your review of Princess Agents earlier. Your review was so on point that I decided I didn't have to write one XD)

Title The King's Woman Spoiler
So for those who are not able to watch yet but just want to know what has happened so far: The first 6 episodes basically covered a little of the backstory between the main leads. The girl saved the king when he was young and he, all so conveniently, "fell in love at first sight". Fast forward a few years, they meet again and she saves him once again. He then realizes who she is but is afraid to confess as he is the king of the country that kinda caused the death of her grandfather. He leaves, but then sends his Qin army to capture her. He uses his underlings to poison her friend/sect "brother" and forces her to marry him in exchange for the antidote. At this point all I can say is that the King is a huge narcissistic douche.

After watching the first 6 episodes, I don't know if it's worth continuing. The female lead is nice although somewhat bland and the king has some control/logical issues. I'm not sure how I feel about watching a romance in which the female lead was basically forced into it through underhanded tricks from the king :/ (For those who want a quick summary of the first 6 chapters, see my comment above)
