Thinking of starting this as i saw a few clips from Youtube. Looks interesting but before i start can someone…
it was more of a hopeful open-ended ending for the ML and FL... as for the rest of the main characters, I guess I could say that most of them were happy and content at the end.
Please tell me you guys also noticed Byung Hun and Mi Na's precious wedding portrait in their kitchen. I never got a clear look but it looked like Byung Hun was the one in the white dress holding a bouquet and Mi Na was in the suit... They're adorable!
I just started this after Avengers Social Club without realizing that Lee Jun Young and Choi Kyu Jin are both dramas, and I feel so whiplashed by the fact that they were absolutely precious sweethearts in ASC and here they seem like shady devil spawns that I want to strangle!!!
the teaser for episode three actually touched on a fact that i kept going back to(my thoughts under this comment)
here's what i keep coming back to: sooyeon did consider leaping out of that window, but she decided not to, signified by her tightening her shoelaces. in dramas, when characters jump to their deaths they usually take off their shoes first, and I'm pretty sure that sooyeon doing the opposite of that is a sign that she didn't fall because she wanted to, but that somebody had pushed her instead. the elevator probably had something to do with it too— maybe someone was already inside it when jisoo tried to use it.
this cast is phenomenal... their performances come across as so subtle but damn they feel like a gut punch when…
episode 2 made me cry so hard. i honestly did not expect sooyeon's story to go that way. like one of the earlier comments on here said, the way her character was written felt like a lead's, so it was almost like a total subversion of that trope.
I just finished watching this, and I honestly liked it a lot. This drama will be unforgettable to me due to the fact that it really helped me get through a really tough week. It literally kept me from a mental breakdown. Despite the stressful parts of the story, there was something I found really soothing about this show. I could chalk it up to the music and the aesthetics, but I think it's really the overall vibe.
I know it's vital to the story, but the more screen time they give the "villains", the more frustrated I get. I just want to see Seo Jin and Ae Ri succeed so bad.
