I mean it could be for his PTSDfrom the building collapse from years ago, but I feel like we were shown that scene of his wife throwing the porridge for a reason.
I enjoyed this drama a lot! It could get a little tiring somewhere in the middle if you take it too seriously, but if you take the crazy sequence of events as it is with no expectations, it's a wild and fun ride!
i keep making a comparison with iZombie and i really loved iZombie so this kinda fail my expectation but still…
i actually kinda thought it was going to be like izombie too with him eating the victims brains and then solving the case after adopting the victims' personalities! though i did appreciate our zombie detective's strong conviction about [not] eating humans in any way
I don't understand how/why after everything was reset, Tae Yi remembered the other timeline and PJG still somehow…
"I thought it would end with Tae Yi and Min Hyuk finding themselves in the timeline without time travel which would eventually lead to PJG being born again. I could've lived with that."
This was honestly one of my theories too. I cannot believe the show went with the dumbest possible route that does not make a lick of a sense.
I thought this was going to be one of favorite 2020 dramas. The final episode definitely changed that.
i just finished the final episode like a minute ago and i am so disappointed with the final episode like i haven't been minding the time travel logic with this show all that much because i cared about the characters more, but i had no idea what or why the heck was happening after jin gyeom had killed old man jin gyeom...... ALSO I AM SO MAD, LIKE THE MIN HYUK ERASURE?!!??! DO YEON BASICALLY BEING A STRANGER AT THE END??!!?! Nothing more effective than some death and mind swiping to get rid of your second leads! And I don't know if it's because I have a dirty mind that needs to be washed with bleach or something, but are they straight up hinting a romance between tae yi and jin gyeom because that icked the f out of me
I just realized the pairings playing both the present and young versions of the main characters are reunions from previous dramas... JJH and KHJ from I Have A Lover (most recently), and YWJ and HSH from Marriage Not Dating (where she was the second lead).
that closing scene was an absolute head scratcher..... it really did nothing for the story. we could've had a family bonding scene but instead we got that super random wedding? what was the writer thinking??

News just came out around an hour ago that she was offered a lead role for a drama by the writer of Beauty Inside (drama)! I hope she takes it! I miss her on my screen!
