10 years ago, after coming to tears while watching Itazuka na Kiss, I made vows not to engage in dramas ever again. I've gone for Alice 'cause of plot (which was nice, yes, but could've been way better) and realized it's time to renew those vows. Thank you very much for Sisyphus but I'm done here. Not risking a heart attack again and this time I'll remember it by 2031 --- and later on.

Fearing for spoiling someone before well-advised, I edited my comment and marked it as spoiler as a whole. And speaking of it, MDL does not seems to have a way of doing it partially anyway. Whether through BBCode or HTML tags.

Thanks in advance.
I'm hoping that ROK/South Korea follow a path away from japanese Anime (with which I'm quite well-acquainted but contemporary series were just enough for my tastes), if even slight.
I respectfully disagree with those criticizing both the science and --- mainly --- the ending. I do not find neither a convincing explaining for the ending, nor do I feel a need for it.
There is no possible way out for the science because what is done here in fiction, ain't possible in real life. I do concur with anyone arguing their lack of consistency regarding e.g. quantum mechanics interpretation, resulting in double (actually, multiple) standards for how would a time paradox be like, and how to solve it (if by all means possible). Then again, I felt this was intentional. If a way or another was clearly stated, it could be impossible to save or threat Seo Hae at any given point. In the earnest, a time paradox would erase her "pronto" or not even allow her to travel through time at all. At the same time, would make possible to her killing her father before birth without suffering any consequence herself. And a third still earnest approach would be her doing so yet at mercy of messed causality. What actual good would be gained from any of these or another one? It's worth noticing this choice also determines whether the future could be changed or not for example, and explaining how the very first uploader was built without Sigma's money would be a pain. If he managed to get the money without the need of a time travel device, a conflict with his being a failed artist would immediately arise. If the source of investment in Quantum and Time was other than him, some would ponder where were them and a whole additional story would be there just for said original investor being silenced. While we're at it, It's not like Sigma is the only one wanting to exploit such device once being its owner at a given degree. From this too, a way for the young Sigma to beat the ones owning the first uploader would have to be created. And the examples just go on. The issues, problems and inconsistencies.
Tae Sul died asking for Seo Hae to come back again and start over, so they could one day live together in peace. The scene in the airplane kinda magically covered this point. It was the happy ending. And if one feels the need of the series to show all the path up to it, get rid of all drama and time-wasting slow-paced scenes and go straight for it.
Instead of nitpicking QM or not enjoying a happy ending I had to swallow said ending with too many remarks I chose to ignore for the sake of good, I shall confess how sick I am of dramatic tragedies. Of course it would be unfair shutting it off for good, since there are other people who enjoy it and I do understand those and that. However, it's my second korean drama yet it feels impossible NOT to ask: is there any Park Shin Hye NOT crying? Because my mother, unaware of eastern culture, already nicknamed her as "Satoko" for hearing Ryukishi's Houjou Satoko crying aloud from outside my room while I watched Higurashi Gou. Halfway through Memories of the Alhambra, she started to get annoyed with both PSH tears and lack of awareness or slow reaction in regard to the opposite sex (I do know and already told her: it's their thing even IRL and nothing is to be done about this). Then again, I couldn't miss the comment below my own: "if you can't stand PSH crying just skip through her crying scenes". Assuming it could be done without missing dialogue and information relevant to the plot, I really wonder how much would be left. This is my second korean drama so I have to ask. Are there works with PSH interpreting another "type" of character? Because I had this strong feeling she's already tailored for and used to playing the same stereotype. Since when? No idea, but I wonder how would things go from now on.
I'm a healthy man. She is a woman. Nothing actually sounds wrong in assessing her looks. Yet still, she's puzzling. Is that her acting skills? Or her face is not as pretty or not pretty as much it's almost perfect for what her characters were in both series? For me to not have a personal saying on this matter is, believe me, nearly impossible and almost unprecedented. Yet here I am, asking myself why is she obviously attractive... but I can't find myself noticing it --- even making some conscious effort. It would be easy, should the actress be simply aesthetically out of my league. Somehow, however, I don't believe it to be the case. And for sure not to the point I'd focus on the task and remain puzzled. Then I recalled my mother says about Fellini, of whom she's an enthusiastic fan: "He did cast characters rather than actors". And while it sounded far-fetched the first I've heard it, ain't it exactly what puzzles me in PSH, I wonder? Speaking of mom (we started doing this as a sort of "family thing"), she likes to notice and comment actors' from a purely aesthetic stand just as well. I found both Go Yura and Bingbing to beat the lead female despite their screen time making impossible to notice anything other than their lookings (Go Yura looked almost prettier than Han Bo Reum but Bingbing is unmistakably the reflection of Lee Shi Woo's natural and fortunate predicates). Mother put both the former brides of Jin Woo ahead of PSH in Alhambra and added Kim Seo Jin to Bingbing here in Sisyphus (I do wonder to what extent one distinguish the actor from the character; speaking for myself I try to state an opinion about a face in the earnest, but won't deny Seo Jin irritated me from her very first misconduct, and so did "Eddie Kim" at the end being immediately promoted from being a hard yet good-natured fool to someone I got as angry as with her former "bride" --- if not angrier).
And all this being said... both of us do like PSH! At these pandemic times we do run off of series to watch quite often, and got here by searching Wikipedia about the actress. The issue here is "when will she just be happy if not from the start to the end at least not once every two episodes at most?" It may be a difficult task to get this. The plot is the very primary factor for everything I do watch. And frankly, plotwise, Sisyphus seemed on par with german Dark. I quoted Dark on purpose to voice my predilection for brain-challenging stories (now these are hardest to find than are PSH chars to kiss their prince...), and started paying attention to korean productions with this in mind, just like Dark made me "scan" german television. We're from south Brazil. PSH reminds me of decades ago a local actress nicknamed "The Brazil's Valentine". Why did PSH reminded me of it despite not being about said actress but definitely about the nickname?
Well, we do like her as she is. But I do really wonder if we'll see her in a plot of my somewhat restricted tastes, being full-time happy while plot do its work, and cry a little bit not too often, given the premise of being "full-time happy". I won't ask for her not to cry at all since, at this point, that could make the character feel out of place. Mother will learn to deal with cultural differences such as "kissing". On the other hand, I myself would prefer her being romantically engaged (TBH I don't care about kisses, mother having voiced this specific complaint herself) sooner. After all, if it is about romance and not tragic drama, I see no point in keep that unpleasant tension characteristic of postponing.
