I think part 1 was better, and I think the ending was a bit rushed. Like wym 2 year time skip after a mass murder just to find out "hey you actually didn't have to go to war we made this weapon to kill them all," and we expect them to just go to school and take a test like nothing happened? who cares about points after watching all their friends die and going to war? No accomodations either? Don't even get me started on the protesters like how about you experience what they did I think they deserve some extra points. Also I hate that almost everyone survived all 9 and a half episodes then BAM all dead, not by war, but by their f**ked up classmate who only cared about college points. I get war makes you go insane but hello what? Get yo perverted ahh outta here.
I did enjoy the flashback at the end tho because it did make me feel better after that whole ordeal, and the music video at the end was the funniest thing ever. But like, all my favorite characters are dead besides Kimchi what do I do now? Class clown DEAD. Class bully-turned-friend DEAD. Class smarty-pants/navigator DEAD. CLASS PRESIDENT DEAD? I'm hurt. I understand there being a lot of deaths but I wish it was more spread out to feel more emotions behind it, but they definitely went for the shock factor and it worked because BOY WAS I SHOCKED.
Also am I tripping or what like where did the other leader go after part 1? Bro just left the students after they killed their other leader fr. I also wished that they met more people from other schools, or they joined forces with others at certain posts that would be cool. More characters to cry to after they die and you get attached 📈📈📈
I finally watched it and oh my god I'm crying bro it was so good 😭
THE ENDINGGGGG DUDE when he went deaf and was crying in the hospital (Suho moment fr) my heart broke but OH MY GOD WHEN HE DEFINITELY HAD THE REALIZATION THAT HIS SON WAS HIS FRIEND AND WAS TELLING THE TRUTH I WAS CRYING EVEN MORE. The tape and the message he left at the end also got me, it was crazy the connection that the unfinished song he worked on was his dads. Now after having the full song tape they should do something with it fr fr.
The characters were so goofy and the storyline kept me wanting more (I binged this in an all-nighter that I shouldn't have). It was such an amazing cast and the acting was so good I continuously felt emotions. The music was amazing and I WISH I could sing and play guitar like that (sad music major who plays saxophone and flute). The band dynamic was great and the father/son relationship (even tho the father had no idea) was the best.
It would be cool to see a point where all the band and his mom figure out that he time travelled and was their friend, but even just the dad figuring it out had me smiling. One of the best shows I've ever watched
That was really cute, but I still feel like there were some plot holes.
If he disappeared in front of both of them after saving Woojin from the car, why wasn't it ever mentioned in the future? Especially from their friend? That's kind of a BIG question. And if he disappeared, was his previous timeline character somewhere? or did his being just disappear and then reappear at some point and when?
This is also just my personal opinion but I think it would have been cool if Woojin figured out he went back in time to save him, but who knows with that open-ish ending of him just smiling who knows what he figured out or not. And their friend, did he just completely forget about the whole "I know he's gonna die I'm from the future" thing? Or did he just not believe it even after his disappearance? Idk man lmao
Besides these points I did find this drama really cute, and I really liked the colorblindness aspect as it mixed both the timelines :)
I loved the plot centered around artistry and rising AI and capitalism, it's such a big and real situation that affects a lot of fine arts. I love how in depth it got with artistic meanings and flowers too.
I also cannot get over Dews acting in this, AMAZING! I know it wasn't going to happen because it's an Offgun series but I was seriously rooting for Pheem to win because he was such a better choice. (even if some things were a bit of a red flag, still better than Ko). But on the other hand I was honestly hoping Dew and AJs characters got together at the end!
Jira on the other hand made me angry so many times, especially going back to Ko at the end after continuously leading Pheem on throughout the series. I kinda wish they stuck with a sad ending where they don't get back together, and Jira finds his own art without Ko in it. Besides that it's a good series!
