wow, this was... wow. So realistically depressing but beautiful. The messiness of the relationships and the tiredness each of the characters felt was shown so well. You really feel for each of the characters. I always love it when I can physically feel the emotions the show conveys. im usually not a fan of open endings but I think this one fit it very well. Amazing series
I'm speechless that was amazing. The plot was great, showing 2 talented boys growing up in a competitive environment with insane home lives, growing up separately with rage, sadness, confusion, and so much more only to meet again with lies and vengeance, only for the truth to come to light and resolve the misunderstandings and tension. Then Jeong Yo leaving Pio behind again before they reunite in the last couple minutes agh. I'm so glad it was a happy ending I love both of them and their individual situations were so heartbreaking I felt for both of them constantly. It wasn't solely about playing the piano (although it obviously played a big part), but about their situations and hardships whether separately or together. Four hands playing the piano together, two seperate sonatas (lives) connected to those hands.
I also have to give props to the soundtrack. As a musician myself, I was captivated every single time they played, and they really did show the competitive side of the industry along with the amount of hard work it takes with practicing and learning music. There were so many things I related to in this aspect, between needing to FEEL the music as opposed to just playing the notes, stage fright, the difference between on stage playing for a performance and playing for yourself on the street to let people stop and take a break, knowing how it feels to be inferior to another musician, the jealousy of the industry, etc. Amazing.
The actors were so perfectly casted and THEY CAN ACT! The emotions in scenes pulled me right in, whether it was screaming in anger, crying of desperation, or laughing along to the feel of the happiness in playing the piano. They did such an amazing job. Also you can't tell me this was a Bromance the way they be looking at each other playing the piano they were GAY.
Wait stop that ending was so sweet 😭 I can't get over how real and poetic this series is, even the special episodes! Im glad we saw Tian again my baby.
The message was so powerful too, we can't pause time in our life or go back and change things but maybe in another timeline things were different, but they will find each other in every timeline 🥹
I think ep 4 is still heavy to watch. I know it is toned down. but the comedic tone doesn't make it funny to me.…
I totally agree, even in the scene where it was happening Ing looked scared while Yok was doing that to him I felt so bad for him. Like yes Ing isn't a good person by any means but he's still a person and anyone would be scared in that situation. You can also see even Yok highly regrets what he did and I don't think it's him regretting sleeping with him I think he's regretting FORCEFULLY doing it.
Yesss I loved Vann and Raks story and I'm SO excited for this one now!!! Phathee is so cuteeee and Ran is such a ball of sunshine I love them already. I'm also a musician so music plots have my whole heart
This was really cute! I wish they built upon the main characters sensitivity to sounds though. That and the deaf character I think had some points where he wasn't supposed to hear and heard anyways? Besides that it was pretty cute, I wish is was longer
I love MaxNat, but this series just wasn't for me. I understand why people like it, but I'm not a big fan of just how comical they attempted to be 24/7 especially Max's character (im not saying he did bad!!! he acted great I just didn't like the script much). The plot was good in theory, I just wish it could have been more serious at times. I also feel like their relationship was a bit everywhere at times.
I was not expecting Renji to be Norths brother omgggg. I love RenjiTime I know for a fact they're gonna be the best characters in this show (or do everything for their gain only which honestly idc I love their confidence especially Renji). As long as they don't hurt Wan or Third I'm good. Renji definitely runs this show 💃🏼 I need him and Wan besties immediately
Also Third, wtf. I get you guys had a past but that past was also messed up by Nine. I get getting over it in high school but he literally tried to KILL Wan and you're still deleting evidence!?!? He's not gonna change and you know it.
It was ok... I liked the chemistry between the main couple but I absolutely despised the side couple (not the actors tho!!). I also really like the songs in the last episode especially. Part of me is glad that they're all friends at the end but Krit and Mochi definitely needed more of a redemption arc to be in their friend group, they got forgiven WAY too easily with everything they did. Sure they have their own problems but it's no excuse to be an asshole to your other friend.
As for the plot, it was your typical "you fucked this up because you thought you originally fucked it up but the original fuck up was fake and you didn't actually fuck anything up until you fucked things up and made up at the end" trope. Wasn't my favorite plot but I guess it wasn't absolutely horrible. I love ThamMac and AunStamp but they deserve a better series.
Absolutely amazing series, but I feel like the end was lacking a bit
First of all, DR JIRAT AND CHITA THEYLL NEVER MAKE ME HATE YOU!!!! They're storyline was my absolute favorite. As sad as I was, I think that was the best ending for them. I just feel bad for the doctors mom and brother, but I'm glad the brother is finally dating his friend! Happy end for the family even with the loss
For James and Ken, I'm honestly surprised that Ken didn't turn James into a nour, but I'm glad he respected his wishes. what was that whole flashback scene tho I was so confused can someone explain? I also would still like to know how Chitas and kens first loves died when Chita wasn't around to kill them. Also I don't think we ever got a confirmation that James was half Nour, but I still think his father was a nour and that's why Chita killed him. It also explains the powers he has.
Overall tho, the plot was amazing!!! And I still want to praise Jirat and Chitas NC scene it was so grotesquely beautiful. And James and Kens NC scene was also so raw and beautiful! The same action shown in two completely different ways it was amazing. But yes, plot 10/10. Acting 10/10. chemistry 10/10!
That was such an emotionally heavy story, I wish there was more at the end about what happened afterwards but at the same time that ending fits really well with the story theme. I was just slightly unsatisfied with the abrupt end after all that
There were so many topics: homophobia (both inside and outside a church setting) , teacher-student relationship, bad home environment, attempted suicide, jealousy and sexual harassment, and so much more. These two boys have it so rough and they found each other but their environment kept tearing them apart, until the end where they're about to split but he runs to him in hopes of saving him (which thank god he does). Really good story!
I loved this story a lot! Points off because of the AI though... but besides that I loved the chemistry between the actors and the acting was really good! LeoKing did amazing with this series. Also Sings acting was so good!!! Am I the only one who weirdly felt bad for him despite all the horrible shit he did? 😭 But anyways, plot was good besides the classic constant misunderstandings/situations that got on my nerves a bit (communication guys cmon). I wish it was longer!
im loving this series so much!!! Third is getting sweeter and sweeter. Wan my poor baby don't waste your tears on Nine and continue to be with Third
My GOD I absolutely hate nine and I have a feeling he's just gonna get worse (James ily you're playing him so well!!!)
And don't even get me started on RenjiTime I love that they were already together and they are SO gonna be Wans little support people I know it especially after Time took that video!
So your friend just turned up dead—no one knows why yet—and you are all smiles and jokes? Wow, what a bunch…
People mourn differently. When my dad died we were all laughing at the restaurant after his funeral. Doesn't make it any less painful, it's just a distraction in the moment
Wait no give us more we still need them at each other's houses and them unapologetically being cute in public without a care for their classmates opinions 😭
But seriously this was a very cute, awkward, and very real series. I loved the realness of how people may treat you differently based on your sexuality, and the awkwardness and sadness for the person who is out. Slowly figuring yourself out in the process and developing a relationship in secret because you don't want them to go through what you did AGH. That relationship also being something new and slowly getting to know each other and what is comfortable. And then the development of telling your parents and slowly being more comfortable standing up for yourself and coming out with the relationship slowly but surely ❤️

As stupid and naive Lin Zai is that is going to absolutely RUIN him
Also JTOHM YESSS! I loved the cameo!
Also Third, wtf. I get you guys had a past but that past was also messed up by Nine. I get getting over it in high school but he literally tried to KILL Wan and you're still deleting evidence!?!? He's not gonna change and you know it.
