honestly, i think it was quite funny if i think DongChan died from suicide, i mean, get real, he remember that he killed SaetByul in the past so of course he would be sad and all but suicide?? like hell he would do that, like you said DongChan is a fighter, he would continue to live on and protect SaetByul to forgive himself, plus if he already know that he will kill SaetByul he can just stop whatever stupid things his gonna do and move forward, what's the need of dying when everything is in the past and can be forgiven :)
i think the prophecy talks about the past and the present DongChan (not really sure if pure past and present or past/present DongChan but...), someone needs to kill the past so the present can live on and have another chance bcoz if they didnt kill the past the past will be the present :)

i think its good that my 1st language is not english cuz i can understand the subs without pausing, like a beginner english sentences here in my country xD

i think its similar to The Mentalist rather than an average police drama
they don't solve murder cases(but they are part of it sometimes), all cases here are only involve in negotiation and understanding the culprit...
